Ethiopian dies after wife crushes testicles-police

ADDIS ABABA, Oct 3 (Reuters) - An enraged Ethiopian mother of five will be tried for the murder of her husband who died after she crushed his testicles in a fight, police told the state-run Ethiopian News Agency.

Police said on Friday the man was so embarrassed after the incident that he declined to seek treatment for the injury, and died days later.

"Following a disagreement over the husband's spending habits, his wife refused to give him his dinner and also decided to sleep alone," police in the western region of Wellega said.

"The husband was so angered by this affront by his wife that he tried to beat her. In the melee that followed, the wife grabbed and twisted his testicles causing serious damage."

Police said the unnamed woman, a resident of Wayu-Tuka district in Wellega, had had several rows with her husband over his free-spending habit on booze.

No one deserves that! Well terrorists do, but they don't have any balls, so it's impossible.

Anyway, women should stop about the threats on male genitalia. It should be illegal with minimum penalty of 60 years of jail. It's just that wrong.

Are there any parts in female physique that causes the same reaction in women, than these kinds of things causes in men?

Well, depends how badly he beat her. It's a case of reasonable force. However since he did not die immediately and could have been saved (presuming the latter) it probably was justifiable self-defense.

I think she shouldn't be tried for murder. She should be tried for grevous bodily harm. I don't think she intended to kill him, and he shoulkd have seeked help. However she did intend to harm him grevously, and did. The self-defense should be up to judge/jury to decide IMHO.
