	A serious Bug Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

We have an ROP with ND, but they have no ROP with us. This is an unacceptable bug and must be fixed. Is anybody familiar with such bug. According to us we have 2 peacetreaties, Nd has peactreaty and ROP.

Get ND to give the save to Trip.

Or even our save from a couple of turns ago.
Let Trip play through the saves to see if he can duplicate the error.

Re multiple peace treaty's : This can happen if peace if offered up multiple times.
Stupid Civ3 Diplomacy screen sucks.

I have pm'ed trip about this bug. Is there a way to edit the save files so that therop can be introduced and the extra peacetreaties be removed. Obviously we can't do this kind of editing ourselves becasue other info could be gained. but is it possible. This is important to me because with an rop, Gs marches right into a strong ND defense at Merida. Without one they are forces to defend Merida with ansars + a few spear/pike.

I got the PM. Not sure what the bug is, or how to fix it, though I'll take a look at it tonight if I have some time.

It MAY be possible to edit the file and fix it... but I'm not sure.

I doubt we can edit the file.

Here is my suggestion.

We tell GS of this bug.
ND does not have a ROP, but we do.
We tell GS, that because of this bug, ND cannot get its defensive forces to "city".
As this is unfair, we request that you assume that ND has its defensive forces of x pikes in the city.
Would your knights attack the city with this knowledge ?

If you attack now, there is a possibility that your knights will take the city. This bug has therefore cause us a terrible disadvantage.



Also... war tends to clean up the negotiation table.
Can we ask Trip to test play our save,

ie.using GoW save, he decalres war with ND
Then offers peace & rop.
He can then quickly play through the game and let us know if when ND gets their turn, that they get the save & a ROP nect turn with no troubles.

Perhaps trip can play a few different forward options, and come up with a solution

I've tried quite a few things, and there seems to be something pretty nasty at work.

No matter what I did, if GOW and ND were at peace then there was a 1-way ROP in effect. No matter what order I did things in, including maps, ROP in the peace treaty or taking them out, closing the window first, offering later, etc. nothing worked.

The last thing I can think of would be to edit the save file, but I need a 1.21 version of it (which I don't have). So if someone could play 280 AD with 1.21 and then post it here I would appreciate it.

I have the 1.21 patch that I can reinstall if need be. The optimal would be for Aggie to get the 1.21, but I don't know if he has it now and if he doesn't how long it would take to download.
