Well, personally, I am lazy, but I would much prefer to find the location from the drop-down list, and then add one or two to it to figure out my current GMT+NN than click a link, open up a new window, have IE screw someth... errr, I mean, any way, I don't like many windows open at any given time.

It works for me. And if you miss by an hour, just change it. It's not like it's a real complicated trial and error type of thing. You shouldn't need more than 1 additional crack at it.
