What about the British?

I played Israel on the highest level of difficulty, and had the British pulverise my defenses by 1948!

Is this supposed to happen, or should we consider this a bug?

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

BTW-

I've been using my strategy, bribery works very well against the Palestinians.

I still can't keep many of the settlements, they fall in the first turn before I can get the walls up for each of the cities. It will be much better to let the Arabs take these cities, and to salvage as many units as we can.

Rush-buy Haganah units in the settlements, Conquer Yaffo, and Akko, This should get you a pretty good start.

About the Navy attack, are you sure these were the Brits?

Who else would get a sneak attack announcement when they strike?

The arabs would just pound the cities without the announcement.

They sank the transport with all the immigrants.

It still would not help to rushbuy units, the settlements fall in the first arab turn.

It's an interesting game, I have only rescued 4 immigrants, all into the port on the Red Sea.

I just bribed Gaza, just one Palestinian city buffering the Egyptians now.

The Lebanese stall in the North.

The Syrians can't finish off my last well fortified city in Galilee and have finally stalled.

The Jordanians still trying to capture S. Tiberias, lots of units killed.

Egyptians have finally crushed the Israeli settlement in the south and are moving north, after the British bombed my city and the Barbarians captured an undefended city.

The British still bombing Israeli core cities. I finally have the cash to build some Messerschmitts. Take that Brits!

I'll have to post a screenshot when I get home.

What difficulty do you have the game set on? Emperor or Deity?

I selected the 'Hard' events.txt for the game and I am also using MGE.

What about you Azazel?

I think you're not playing with the last version avaliable of the scen. In the last version, the british are destroyed when the partition begins (1948)
