Damnit!
Izzardia fell 1 food short of growing, and therefore is still at size 4. I've left it at +4 food, because any more would be wasted. Next turn, however, it needs to be reconfigured for +5 food.
****. How did that happen?
Both Charlie and the new worker are on the floodplains. The new guy was supposed to move to the tile 4, 1 of Izz.
Charlie ordered to irrigate, which finished the irrigation. AT moved across the river to join the other two, so that all three can road next turn and then split up again the turn after that. I'll have to re-work "the plan."
Swindon founded. Warrior in 5.
Since Izz is still size 4, I've dropped the luxury spending back to 0 for this turn. We're at +13 gold/turn, Writing in 3 turns. Next turn it will need to go back to 10%.
I moved our northern scout 2, 6. This opened up the little bit of Pythonian land we couldn't already see. Camelot is size 4. It has 1 irrigated wheat, and some bonus grass. Therefore, luckily, they cannot reach the magical +5 food/turn that we have.
The Monkeys are outscoring both us and the Pythons... not that score is really an accurate measure of things. We are the weakest in "power" as well, probably due to our building of scouts while they built warriors.
We are 1st in land area and GNP, 3rd in Manufactured Goods, and 4th in population (wow, considering that Izz, at size 4, is tied with Monte de Venus & Camelot as the largest cities showing on the F11 screen).
F7 shows that the monkeys are building the Pyramids in "Gorilla." Really. Perhaps it is a placeholder. We shall see.

edit: T38, not 37. I can't count, apparently.
