What a storied history. Roger Clemens, the Rocket, arguably the Red Sox' best pitcher ever, now a member of the rival Yankees, is playing his final game in Fenway (and perhaps his final game of the season and his career).

Right now, the Sox fans are chanting "Roger"...its surreal. Wish I were there.

Bottom of the first, Sox have men on 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs.

Pedro should face a fine from Major League Baseball

I'm sad to say...but this is just the latest in a long line of ******* behavior by the Red Sox this postseason

Pedro hit Garcia in the back (which would have hit him in the head if he hadn't ducked). Garcia, during a double play, slid into second base hard and knocked Todd Walker over. Benches cleared slowly.

Clemens went inside on Ramierez, who walked out towards the mound pointing his bat. In the ensuing brawl, Pedro was lunged at by Don Zimmer. Pedro just grabbed the 74 year old by the head with both hands and threw him to the ground.

Zimmer ended up with a cut on his nose. He also has a metal plate in his head.

David Zimmer (who's about a 90 year old coach) charged Pedro and Pedro threw him to the ground.

Earlier on, the Rocket through a pitch close to Manny Ramirez's head.

A pretty bad way to have your last game there. The fans were booing him and all. But what was Pedro supposed to do? Let himself get hit in the face?

He nailed Karim Garcia. He wasn't thrown out, but both teams got a warning. Next inning Rocket trew a high pitch to Manny Ramiraz and he ran to the mound. Both benches cleared but no one seemed to be fighting. All of a sudden, Pedro grabbed Don Zimmer by the head and threw him to the ground. What is wrong with him?

It's not like Pedro walked up to him and hurt him. Zimmer charged Pedro and swung at him, but Pedro threw him out of the way. What was Pedro supposed to do?

The guy's 72 for God sakes! You really think he's gonna be able to take out Pedro? The coward goes after Zip and threw him down. Zimmer used to coach there. Final. New York: 4 Boston: 3.

Well he was running up to him and swinging at him-it probably would have hurt to get punched like that, even if he is old. I don't see what he was supposed to do. It's instinct to try to protect yourself.

And what was Zimmer doing? It was his fault he charged Pedro for no reason. He's the agressive one.

Pedro was looking for him in the crowd. Don't try to tell me he wasn't trying to hit Zimmer. He was going for him. The guy's in the hospital now.

I love Don Zimmer, but that's what you get for being dumb enough to pick a fight with a man half your age.

Let's get something straight. I've watched the replay quite a few times now, and Zimmer charged and swung at Pedro. It's his own damn fault he got thrown to the ground .

And yes, Pedro intentionally hits batters, but I still love him. I don't see how anyone could not see this coming. Yankees vs. Red Sox is one of the all time great rivalries. They fight whenever they have a chance.
