Seriously, though, aren't Apolyton's ads supposed to be "family-friendly"? I understand the Spears Photo Gallery ads--they're at least okay--but this one caught my attention.

But since it's in the pop-up ad rotation--and not actually a banner--its chances of being taken out are much less likely aren't they?

Hmmmm.......Apolyton being a family friendly site is exactly the point here.

This ad is about sex, and as such it should be banned. Whether the man and the woman are dressed or not is beside the point. The ad is about sex. The word sexy is even in it.

And this was not Tassadar mode. It was Asmodean mode.

Now, we can all avoid the tragedy mentioned above by simply getting rid of the ad in question, folks. Hurry up now, before a beloved Grandma dies for real after seeing what grandson sees, and the grandson becomes a serial ax murderer because of it.

And to this ad. Ever since I got the Google toolbar I don't see ads, but....It's still very bad.

Apolyton claims it's a "family-friendly" site yet these type of ads creep in? Luckily Markos had the sanity to remove the last porno ad that came in...This isn't pictoral porn, but more like suggestive porn.

last porno ad? The ad for the Apolyton Store? It was probably easy for Markos to remove that one. That's a forum banner rotation--IIRC under his complete control. But getting ads out of a pop-up rotation would probably be harder.

Technically, this site is still family-friendly. Its ads (which are on a separate site) just aren't. Surely advertisers offer a family-friendly rotation or something?

More than just the image of an ad purported to being delivered on Apolyton through our advertising system is needed in order to track down its source. The source code of the ad is needed.

Unfortunately, some advertisers deliver content in addition to or instead of what we have contracted as being acceptable. Rest assured that if the ad in question is indeed coming from one of Apolyton's advertisers it is not with the consent of this site's administration.

It is not always easy and quick to track down the offending party(ies) in these situations either, but we do what we can based on the information at our disposal.

This would be funny, Az, were it not for the fact that Apolyton is a family site. Meaning that references to anything sexual should not occur here.

As adults, you and I can agree that the ad is harmless. Nevertheless it does not belong on Apolyton.

Yeah it doesn't always pop up when you do certain things. It seems to rotate so that every 5th or 10th time a certain ad opens you get the gator pop up.
