Turn 39 - 2230 B.C. Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Launcelot goes 1, follows the hill chain towards the coast.

Bedevere goes 4 at the hill, reveals a large part of izzardian territory, although nothing worth to mention.

Robin goes 2, sees more tundra.

Erek goes 4. Will reveal as many of coastal tiles as he can and push back the fog of war. Barbarians will come soon.

Bors fortifies. Settler founds Castle Anthrax (CX). Set to build Granary.

Dennis and Jonas both build road.

Rearranged laborers to max food, gold and production. Settler ready in 2 turns.

Here's a thought... Should we rename Camelot to 'Castle Camelot?'

Had we decided on a site for the next setter? Continue are tight ring, claim the iron, toward CoD, or what?

We have negotiated a southern border with CoD, see the foreign ministers thread. We will have three cities there at distance 6. One of them at the edge of the rectangular cape S of CA, one of them 777 from the City of Snakes and one in the western hills. Overall I aim for a 3-ring and a 6-ring, perhaps with a few cities farther.

Re renaming Camelot: I vote no, or else soon all our cities will start with "Castle". We should rather think about new city names.

I would found the next city 2222 from Camelot. A road will be ready in time, to speed up the settler. After him, 2 more workers are in order from Camelot.

The northern worker will soon have connected the wine.

My vote for the southern city is Castle de Loimbard.

Got spare money?

We can continue our 3-ring with cities 996 and 336 of Camelot.

Castle Loimbard is an excellent name for a city on the English border.

Castle de Loimbard's name and 2222 site sound good to me. We are the Castle de Loimbard, so we had better name a town at some point.

Apologies once again for becoming all-but-a-Lurker.

Things are looking decent. We'll have to continue the tight spacing in order to get enough cities in north of the Izzards.

What's the plan to connect the iron to the east?

I agree on not renaming Camelot - we should feel free to use any creative Python names, and not limit ourselves to Castles.

Since we have negotiated our S border, what about a city Camelot-996 as suggested by Dave? It would be certainly more productive than the city at Camelot-2222. We could use it to prepare the connection of the iron. Although we shouldn't connect it yet and build first a barracks and some vet warriors, to be ready if the necessity emerges. 2 more workers will be built after the settler, they would connect the iron quickly.

As for names: I am not a big Monty connoisseur, I just know the Holy Grail (dl'd and watched it only after I joined the team) and depend on your input. Definitely, the city C-2222 shall be the "Castle de Loimbard". A city close to the tundra landbridge in the NW should be "Bridge of Death". But how would we name the iron city at C-996? Since it looks like we'll build it next, we need a name within the next 2 turns!

Any input from the Monty cracks here?

With a negotiated border, let's continue the tight ring. My main concern with delaying 2222 was getting beaten to the site (and the extra grapes) by the Izzards. Let's get out to the iron.

As for a city name, at some point we need one from Python's best movie of all, like "Judean People's Front".
