How do you colonise? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

The introductory booklet is very thin, to say the least! So I find myself meandering with my scout and colony ships, not able to keep them going from A to B! Okay, so I can probably work that one out but can some one pleassseeee tell me how I colonise with my colony ships? I reach a suitable system with a colony ship and nothing happens. There doesnt appear to be a colonisation option for the colony ship! It is however beginning to dawn on me that perhaps in GalCiv colony ships dont automatically fill with colonists as they do in 'Master of Orion III' so I will go back to the game and check. Any advice under this heading and any other useful advice for a neophyte for this game would be appreciated.

You may or may not be interested to know that I gave up playing 'Master of Orion III', at least for a while, when I found that despite my best efforts at expansion, on the easy level, I should stress, I reached a point at which my 400 ships were facing 8,000 alien ones! I decided to try this game because I read the AI didnt cheat so much! At this rate, I think I may have to go back to MOOIII!

Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

put your colony ship near the star system. Then next turn you left click on the colony ship and the right click on the star system.

Suffering from ads?

Dont give in to easily ...

Turn the Tutorial Hints on (a checkbox) and it will tell you these things as they arise.

Also there is a better manual available for download from Stardock Central or here:-

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

And you must select the planet in the system by right clicking on it.
