Opened the turn, and Monkey had offered 25 gold "accepted" for pottery. I think, based upon the latest diplo stuff, that we will have to give 8 gold back.

Everything else proceeding according to the Plan.

I decided to gift 8 gold back to Monkey, so they pay us 17 gold for Pottery (as dicussed in the diplo thread).

Writing is due next turn. We really need to hammer out the deal with Monkey, so there is no delay. To whomever plays the next turn: remember to send Writing to Python "accepted" to cut down on the time necessary to complete the deal (then all they need to do is send back IW accepted). Next research: CoL at the max we can manage.
