Question: What is it? It sounds quite Greek, but I've never heard of it.
PS: I just glanced at some of the stuff in CG, but it looks good...

Funny thing is, though, that the one who Alexander would have chosen would've neither been Seleukos, nor Ptolemaios, nor Antigonos, Lysimachos or Kassandros. While his soldiers were saying good-bye to him, he gave his seal to Perdikkas. It is most likely that, if he would have had the chance to choose a successor, he would have chosen Perdikkas!
Aside from that, I believe that, if he hadn't already died before, Alex would have chosen Hephaistion, his great love. Hephaistion was so madly in love with Alexander that he was jealous at everyone-even his dog!

Huh, Stefan, when the scenario starts, Perdiccas is supposed to be long time dead during the civil war, so... you can guess why i said he was the one that most deserved the throne - because he was the most able general between diadocs.
Update news about scenario
1)
I placed in it all the fighting diadocs - Lisimacos, Seleucos, Tolomeos, Kassandros, Antigonos and his son Demetrios - and the Indian emperor Chandragupta.
2)
I stabled four cities to be international recruit camps for mercenarioes - that's it, mercenary units will appear during the game in this cities - so whoever will obtain the control over these four cities will receive an extra aid in the game.
3)
In order to better perform each general's abilities, i'll gave to evry tribe an extra tech that will allow him a "national unit".
What do you think about this idea ?

Updated news number 2...
1)
I've placed in my scenario a kinda "super-spy" unit.
I know, i'm pretty dirty, but.. there was no way to represent the eterai arts of seduction...
2)
The list of national units:
Lisimacos - Thracians
Seleucos - Paropamisades ( an afghan-indian cavalry )and elephants
Antigonos - a sort of flamethrower ( i based the icon over the one used by Thebans at the battle of Delion )
Tolomeos - cheap ships ( thanks, BeBro ... )
Cassandros - Tessalia's cavalry
Chandragupta - Khsatria ( a kind of super-infantry )
3)
The government...
I stabled all to be under Despotism, except for Antigonids ( because they considered free Greek cities as allies, and never tried to subdue them in any way ); the Antigonids will play as Monarchy.
4)
The mercenary units...
Four mercenary units are planned:
* Hoplites n. 2
* Phalanx n. 2
* Archers
* Paropamisades
The first three ones are reserved to Greek kingdoms, the fourth is reserved to Seleucos and Chandragupta.
P.S.
Blackclove, Cam, please don't consider this as spamming... i'm trying to get a feedback about my project before posting it To SLeague ( that's it, i want to post this scenario for review in place of my oldest one, Chung Kuo - currently under restyling ).

Units sound good. But what is that flamethrower, a siege engine?
 |
I suppose he means "Greek Fire", a chemical mixture invented by the Hellenes that shot out of a barrel, similar to a modern-day flame-thrower (at least in effect), was very effective in the naval warfare. Nobody knows how they did it, though.
Prometeus, I don't know what dimensions your scenario has, but for the Seleucids I would propose you to have a commonly used "Persian" unit, because at the time of Alexander's death, every third in his army was an Iranian. Afterwards they were a lot cheaper to aquire than Greek, or even Macedonian hoplites. In any way, use "locals" as "standart" units as cheap but not very powerful forces.

Thanks for your hint, Stefan... i created a Seleucid persian unit, and most important thing,
a) not so powerfull,
b) unavailable to rebuild.
I hope this will show a lot better the native's number decrease in hellenistic armies during this period.
Huh, about the flamethrower: it was not greek fire, because this one use a liquid propellent ( kind of sulphur and oil mixture ? who knows ? the "recipe" was a statal secret... ). The "theban" flamethrower used - and launched - living fire coals.
Updated news number three.
In "Antigonos", i playtested a modified version of my Kok Turk scenario's Terrain1.bmp . I just can't wait to post "Kok Turks" scenario to Apolyton ... sadly, it has so many bugs, it will take another month to fix them all.
Hope the Antigonos' preview will give you an idea of Kok Turk's look ( once i'll finish it, it's obvious...).

Question for Stefan. How did you manange to drive through both Paris and Nueremberg in the same 8 hrs. The last time that I saw the traffic in Paris, 1983, it would have taken nearly that long just to cross Paris. Have the French finally given up using cars in within the city?

A question off topic; will you ever translate your 3 kingdoms scn? I played it but could understand only some of it because italian ressembles fench to some extent.
