	I spy, you spy, the poll on spies in general Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

All kinds of options here. Vote for whether you want the Arab spies, and whether you want Mossad spies. You can vote more than once, so you can vote seperately on both the Arab spy and Mossad spy issue. I guess you could vote yes and no for both kinds of spy's, but then you throw your vote away.

If we vote no on the Arab spies
1. then the Arab unit could either be edited out
2. or we could have only the bribing option disabled. (Depends on how we vote on the Mossad)

If we vote no on Mossad spies,
1. We would observe a House Rule not to bribe Arab cities.
2. We could have the bribing option for spies disabled. (Depends on how we vote on the Arabs, and this would also eliminate our ability to buy off Arab units in the field, not just in cities).

The AI can bribe with any units, not only the spies...The only effective way to stop be bribing is to be a democracy....

Also, it has been proved that a high amount of cash makes the AI to bribe less!

But they cause defections less so than the spies. I've also never seen a non-spy cause a city to defect.

The Mossad has gotten a number off high-ranking Arabs to report to Israel. I think the highest-ranking spy they have gotten was the Egyptian Minister of Defense.

We would have to actually take out the Arab spies. Even with bribing disabled in the Iron Curtain scenario, on Deity the AI spies can still bribe cities. The entire unit must go or the AI will cheat and bribe anyway.

Also, the Druze and Bedouins in Israel support the Jews and therefore Mossad bribings of Arab cities would include bribing them to join Israel and leave the Arab states. Just a thought.

When are we going to bring this poll to conclusion? It looks like no Arab's being able to bribe and a tie on us being able to bribe.

So one issue is clear but the other isn't. Maybe another poll on the bribing for Mossad?

And then after we get an answer if it is yes then maybe a second one to clarify what types of bribes are aloowable? Some or all?

Im trying to push this along because my guess (Yaro help me here ,please! ) Is that if the Arabs are not going to bribe then we have to change .scn and restart..

Yaro? Pinky? Emu? What do you guys think?

As I posted, since there is another poll on Arab spies, this poll does not count in relation to the Arab spies. I'm only paying attention to Mossad!

As for the tie on Mossad bribes, it's only 8 votes, less than half the demo-group! What's going on?

I'd appreciate any way of destroyin enemy arabs (I don't believe that Israel's cities would be bribed). And about the Mossad, it's upon to the govt.

its part of the game , history is one thing , now we are in control , .....

and the arabs have always tried to bribe the whole world , ..... in fact they are still trying it today with the oil , .... but thats a whole new thread , .....

let them try , if we are any good , then they shall never get away with it , ...... (!)

as for the mossad , it stands for the institue of intelligence and special tasks , well it has always been part of Israel , we have it in the game and therefore we should use it , ....
