	Base Name Suggestion - The Capital Enter the AD-FREE zone

While it falls under the Secretary for Economic Policies' department, since I am First Secretary of the Capital, I thought it prudent to start a thread for suggestions to found our first base. The time is nearly upon us. Please post any suggestions, and I will poll in a few days for the name.

Here is a map of our starting position, and personally, I support founding the base exactly where the CP is now (under the southern scout), if that effects what you would name it:

Thanks for the thread.

I would like to suggest "The Hive" or "The Hive Core" as our HQ name. Btw, since we start with three colony pods, let's make suggestions for the two other bases as well!

Edit: Looks like we posted around the same time. Well, rather than leave this post as redundant, I'll simply give the reasons why I think this name to be preferable to New Apolyton.

An Apolyton is a supreme ruler, an overlord over the masses. And while we in truth will govern over the masses from our capital with absolute authority, as is our due, it would not be fitting to be seen as such by other factions. The name of our first base will color humanity's reaction to us, their eventual saviors. What do we in truth intend to do? We intend to harmonize humanity with itself, much like the insects in a hive. Therefore, I believe that just this, "The Hive" ought to be the name for our first and central base.

For the other two bases, I expect we will have many excellent suggestions, but I propose "Utility Node," and "Efficiency Cavern."

As for the region name: perhaps the "Union Republic of Opportunity", following the name of the isthmus?

I think the Isthmus of Opportunity will be in another region though. If we have 3-4 bases per region, the first region will all be to the West of the Isthmus.

How about a theme. I would love the Region to be called The Hive of Utility (or Utilitaria), with Utility Node, Efficiency Cavern and The Hive in it. We could even have all the regions being "The Hive of..." such as The Hive of Opportunity (for the next one, surrounding the Isthmus), The Hive of Control, The Hive of Oppression, The Hive of Conquest (for military production bases), etc.

What do people think?

How about the Regions are something like:
Alpha Hive/Republic
Beta Hive
Gamma

To give us more of a sense of us being in a police state.

I don't see that as being a Police State-like. Police States usually have glorious names, not functional ones.

Is Aurora Cave a suggestion? If we do, I suggest finding a coastal harbour type shape to put it in.
