I was under the impression that playing ahead and reloading to achieve optimal results was considered forbidden in most PBEM play (assuming that's how you know this)?

Out of interest, is ND doing this is the PTWDG? If so, there likely needs to be a discussion about it.

You don't have to play ahead to know this, move S,E and you end up on a mountain, next(south) to a barbarian that is already visible.

Have you played the turn now? So we can discuss the eventual outcome?

AFAIK, ND is not 'playing ahead', if some members are they are doing so in secrecy(and against team policy) without informing the rest of the team.

Cool, thanks for the clarification.

It wasn't the move that alerted me, it was the point about promoting our unit to elite.

As it was, the unit is still a veteran, so obviously you didn't play ahead

Only suggestion of bongo's I didn't take was healing the 2/3 Jaguar in the north looking around for another civ.

Now that we can see open terrain, we might heal him now, of course, but I want to find that other civ as soon as we can, too.

Well, well, two little surprises in one turn

Jaguar Dangerous Ali Baba discovered a camp and the barbarian already visible didn't attack!!

Are barbarians getting smarter? If both barbarian had attacked then we would have a 100% change of an elite promotion. THEY CHEATED US

What now? Attack the camp next turn(25€) or wait for the other barb to attack?
