But wait... do we WANT to tell them off the bat no? Of course not! Let's mess a little with their heads, try to see what would be their price, the details, whatever. Remember, we want to give the impression that we are allies with ND only for the duration of this war. Once it's over it's a clean slate.

If GS feels that GoW-ND will be "permanent" allies it might force them to continue this war since they will see no chance of winning ever if we do gobble up the continent.

Honestly, I would be all for seriously considering it at this point, if it weren't for Lego's involvement. Even so...

Perhaps it's just that I do not trust ND to give us our fair share after all is said and done...

IMO we should aproach it by saying we are committed to fullfilling our current contract, which is the removal of RP from Bob. Sure this is imaginary, but believable.

Once this takes place (ostensibly by GS gifting one of thier cities to RP) we would be free to explore new contracts at will, and have no problem discussing the return of Spain at that point.

Tell them our war with them is not a part of the contract, but a consequence of warring on RP. Nothing more.

What should we tell them we want?

Half of Bob by both tiles and resources, all spoils from the RP war, slaves and cats, will remain ours, and some kind of tech agreement into the future, and some control over what GS is allowed to bring to Bob, be this through guards stationed around their territory on Bob, or any other means we see fit.

I suspect that this whole affair is in direct response to my complaining about no one taking us seriously on the merc concept elsewhere...

We can't tell ND of the offer because they placed that in the PM and I feel uncomfortable with that.

We could tell ND that an "offer" and potentionally tell them "general" info.

I think we should tell GS that we are under contract to "purge Roleplay from Bob" anything not on Bob is not covered by our agreement.

Secondly, while we would be interested in hearing their offers, previous agreements with both of them have been twisted and borderline violated by both of their teams. Therefore it would have to be a very good offer and maintain very good wording.

You're right, they did. I didn't read it that closely.
