I like to cycle long distance (like 9-10 hour bike rides). Sometimes I like to smoke a spliff or three on route. I can still keep my avg times so I know Im not slowing down at all.
The odd thing is the burn in my legs is reduced by quite a degree. As long as I continue to cycle I dont feel the 'stoned' tiredness at all, but instead feel very energized.
Im guess it could be considered perfomance enhancing because it numbs the burn.

I wonder though, if applied to sports what would happen to the sports injury rate. You know, sometimes those little pains really mean something.

The problem with weed is that it makes "everything seem ok" (well until paranoia sets in that is). This feeling of bliss contributes to people losing the desire to obtain meaningful goals.

If someone is taking perfomance enhancing drugs then I doubt they are thinking in the long term.

Er, no. Maybe my physical dexterity drops, but sensation is increased. My gf feels the same.

Do you eat nacho topped brownies and pass the wet mulch back and forth via kisses while doing so?

I have the same theory. our entire basketball team smokes, or used to anyway, before they started doing the drug tests. If they dont make it to state this year I think it would be safe to say that it enhances basketball skills. (maybe its because they spend less time thinking)
I know a person who is extremely smart, very talented, who can do anything he wants. But instead he smokes just about every day after work.
