	HOTW4 Out of Character Thread Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

Raz, for some reason I can't access the unit and city count graphics on your page. Could you just post a jpg or something?

Also, the page is missing something. A title or masthead. I think it'd be cool to have an official HOTW4 logo, so I made up a few options.

Which one should we use?

the webpage does have a header , doesnt it show on your computer, it shows on my one at home and all the ones at work, but they all use IE as the browser , more feedback from others would be handdy..

and i just found out the lovely graphs i did require microsoft componetns installed whic hi dont have at work so many people might not be able to access them.

Will try and figure that part out when i get home and have spare time on the weekend , will probably need to come up with another easier way of presenting the information

i have it on top of al lpages and under that i have the page title in the same format and then under that is the return to home page link

OK cool, see if you can use that as a .jpg instead of word art. Use a screen shot if you have to.

I'm probably not the only one having trouble with it. Though if I am, then forget my complaint.

yeah i had already thought of changing the word art to jpg, should be easy to do.

as for the grpahs they were so cool i hoped they would work. will ahve to do a whole rethink on them..

You should also make the different pages of the story navigatable from the homepage. Rather than having to go through them all to get to the most recent.

We "fall back" 1 hour, but not untill sunday which for us Americans is after the game. During the conversion however, I see little way to avoid confusion about the time changes! ^_^

	I have get ordered to work Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

this weekend too. Very bad luck. I and white civ demand we postpone the game this weekend because the sub that played my civ abused it to build agressions against my ally white civ! I can't accept it and white can't accept it!

Please understand that a postpone is the only chance to stop the game from collapse, the situation is very tense and a war started by a sub will destroy the whole game, so please don't spoil this game. Let us postpone it. I am sorry for the struggle it creates, but it is worser to crash the game so players leave it (I and white civ)...

I am normally always avail on weekends, this is extrem bad timing in that I can't 2 weekends in row in the start of the game. I am very sorry for it.

Sorry to hear that Winz.

But I vote the show must go on or it will collapse anyway. Frank was cool about a sub last week, as was Raz This is the first week we have Raz available too.

However I also vote that subs can not create or fight wars. Let's try and find some subs and we will be clearer about the rules.

I think atawa tried to do his best but he is one of the very top players who really understands the game inside out so we can't blame him too much; and he did help us out. He made a judgement call about the game mechanics which with hind sight many of us think was not in the spirit of diplo gaming. But myself and others, failing to understand the techinical point, allowed a situation to continue that should not have continued. I'm sure that if atawa were to Sub again he'd abide by any clear rules we agree on so let's try and work out a positive solution. We must play on!

Yeah i thoguht about that. but some stories relate to others just before them and so need to appear together..

can always change if others think so too

Perhpas i need to edit out some sort of update into each civ page and leave the rest behind, althoguh that would take more work

I always abide by game rules, at the time I understood it not being against game rules so took advantage of the bug.

Which bug are you talking about?

I thought all kind of advantages that is gain but using bugs was banned by RAH rules. Not right?

I can play some hours... But it depends on how you are going to handle the daylight savings swift on both northern and souhtern hemishpere. Which US EST time is the game going to start?

Aussie forward one hour -> The game starts one hour earlier for you than last session
euros back one hour -> The game starts one hour later for you than last session
For US players same start time as last session (daylight savings not take effect there before the session starts).

I how this makes it clearer...

Heh, daylight savings screws things up. But its the same time for us Americans to start with. The official change over happens at 2am Sunday morning for us. So that means we'll get two hours of civ for the price of one! What a deal!

No idea when the change over is for Euros or Aussies. Since we are waiting on Frank anyways, just do whatever calculations you need to do so it coincides with 11pm American Eastern time.

I agree we should play on. If we didn't wait for Raz in the first two sessions, then we shouldn't be waiting now. Trev can sub. If not then maybe Atawa with very clear instructions. Win, post instructions for your civ so your sub can follow them.

It's Sunday here now! The clocks have moved forward but I've left mine alone! As long as I'm here at the same 'old' time, I'll be right. Winzity, don't forget that the USA will not move it's clocks back until AFTER this game session. So Europe players should make sure they do the same as me. I think your clocks move during the game As ozzy says we got a BIG session today, err tonight!!
