CENTAURI DAWN CONTEST
- The contest will run for 4 weeks(end date: 13-May-2001)
- Only new fiction will be accepted
- Submissions will be evaluated by Velociryx, Googlie and Hydro
- There will be a 10 days period for evaluation by the judges
- After the evaluation period, the winners, all entries and reviews of entries will be posted in the SMAC Section(if all go well and no additional time is needed, that will be on May 3)
- 2 First winner prizes will be a copy of Centauri Dawn: one for someone living in the US/Canada and one for Europe
- 2 Second winner prizes will be a copy of the printed version of Velociryx's strategy guide(again one for US/Canada and one or Europe)
- There is no limit on the length of the submitted fiction
- There will be no ranking. At the end, we will list the first winners and second winners and then the rest alphabetically(writer's name)
- Only SMAC/SMAC-X factions should be included in the fiction
- Multiple submissions are acceptable
- Entries will be rated on the following
- -Creativity
- -Originality
- -SMAC-ness(how close it is to the spirit of SMAC)
- -Leaders' Representation(compared to their original characters and ideals in SMAC)
- -Plot
- Rating for each category is 1-10
- End rating is the sum of the above (best rating = 50)
