LDespot: What did you do for SMG?
David Evans: Sound fx, sound driver programming, recording, and anything else related to sound.

LDespot: How did you end up at Firaxis?
David Evans: I worked at MicroProse with Brian, Jeff, Jason and Sid.

LDespot: Are there any suggestions you would have for someone trying to get a job in the game industry in a position similar to your own?
David Evans: Combining two disciplines, (programming and music/sound), was a big help towards getting myself established in the industry. Know the technology and be able to use it creatively.

LDespot: Is there anything else you would like to say to the gaming community (This is your chance to vent, praise, or babble to the world)?
David Evans: What can I say? I'm having a blast!!!
