Greetings everyone
This is the weekly round-up of what happened in the civworld and on our
site the last week(26.Oct-1.Nov).

But first, let me say that right THIS moment we are chatting on irc about
Manifest Destiny. If you need details check out

Also, our Civ2 Tournament Game ended and a new Tournament Game will start
today, details will be posted later today

*News
NOT TODAY, APPARENTLY
(Oct.30) No signs of MGE's release. Oh well, as someone said on the
forum, it was an estimate. The funny thing is that these dates are
company estimated dates, and when you ask their support line they will
tell you that they don't have any info.... Anyway, next possible date:
November 11th.

TOMORROW??
(Oct.29) Gamespot's page was updated two days ago(Oct.27) and it still
says October 30... that is tomorrow! Meanwhile, EBWorld still says
November 11th and Chips&Bits have changed their date to November '98(from
October '98). Also, the TOT date on Chips&Bits is now more logical,
February '99. Finally, another good sign that MGE IS coming(I was starting
to doubt that Microprose is indeed going to make it) is that...

GAMEPEN PREVIEWS MGE
(Oct.29) The title says it all, Gamepen has a preview of Civ2:MGE. It is
actually two pages of things we already know and no word about when it is
coming. The only interesting thing is that e-mail games will be supported.
I guess this will make many people happy... Also, there are some new
screenshots, which can also be found right here in our mge screenshots
directory(screen* files).

(26.Oct) Our next chat is scheduled for this Sunday, November 1st, at
