A day late(and maybe a couple hours more due to temporary problems that
Listbot has) here is what happened in the civworld and on our site the
last week(28.Sep-4.Oct)

HAPPYPUPPY SEES THE FUTURE
(4.Oct) Happypuppy has a very good feature on the official and
un-official civ2 sequels: Civilization: Call to Power from Activision and
Sid Meier Alpha Centauri by Firaxis. Out thanks to Aleksejs Petrazickis
and Dan Abbott for sending us a note.

MGE PRICE CHANGES
(29.Sep) This time it wasn't the date that changed on EBWorld's page for
Civ2:MGE but the price. MGE is now listed for $29.99, dropping from
$44.99. A most certainly good move from Microprose(if of
course it stays unchaged). The date is still 30/10.

29.Sep Hall of Fame updated.

WHAT A BLAST! (3.Oct)
Today has come and gone and the mid-afternoon (EST) IRC chat with members
of the Activision team went off without a hitch! Our thanks to Activision
for participating and also to those who asked questions. The two-hour
session was a success! Our very own MarkG, DanQ and Derek Lande, who setup
the channel earlier this week, moderated. A complete transcipt was logged
and will be ready tomorrow. For those who were unable to attend, don't
worry because this opportunity will arise again in the near future! :-D

CHAT ANYONE? (3.Oct)
That's right, Apolyton now has it's own IRC chat room! Just logon to
irc.iol.ie and join the channel #civ. Drop in to say hello (perhaps to
Markos and myself included!) and discuss various aspects of Civ'ing with
