MGE/UCC PATCH RELEASED January 6, 1999
The much talked about MGE/UCC patch has arrived! MPS released it today. No
doubt MPS' servers are jammed with server requests for it, but we're happy
to be one of the first mirror sites for the patch! Both the US (MGE) and
UK (UCC) versions are available for downloading below. If you would like
to have another look or didn't have the opportunity to do so before, you
can view the MGE readme file here. Keep On Civ'in! :)
CIVLEAGUE OUT OF BETA! January 5, 1999
The fellas over at CivLeague are pleased as punch to announce the biggest
news in its history: it's out of beta! The biggest feature that was added
is called "Report Win", which will automatically process reports. The
process is simple: when one wins a game, they send it to Report Win and
it'll update the ladder accordingly. A copy of their report is also sent
to all participating members in order to discourage falseified ones. Visit
their site for more info.
OFFICIAL CIVII SITE REVAMPED January 1, 1999
MicroProse gave the official site for Civilization II much needed
revitalization today. A couple of the sections of the site are
still under construction, but it is definately an improvement! You can
visit it here and judge for yourself!

REPLAY! REPLAY! (Jan. 10)
Several things seem to excite you about C:CTP. In our third poll we gave
you lots of choices. If we exclude "All of the above" which got 41%(416
votes), the most exciting features of C:CTP are Sea and space
colonization(22%, 226 votes) and the Anti-micromanagement features. You
can see the complete results on the link on the poll box. We now have a
new poll about the replay feature civ1 had. Lt John has said that it wont
exist in C:CTP. Here is your chance to send a message to Activision! :)
CIVERS CHAT (Jan. 10)
