Subject: NEWSFLASH: German Patch v1.1

Greetings Civ'ers!

This message is in regards to Activision's release of German Updater Patch
v1.1 today.

You may download it from our website at the following URL:


The update will work for all Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT German versions of
Call to Power. It will upgrade CTP from the release version to version
1.1.

Two final and important notes:
1) German users who have modified their version of the game with the
English Beta Map Editor should reinstall before applying this update.
2) This patch is NOT to be used for the Linux version of CTP.

French, Italian, and Spanish versions will follow soon, Activision Support
has informed us. If you are using the English version, you will want to
download this version which was released last month:
