Finally, here is a picture of the highly disreputable and utterly untrustworthy Hu Man Bing, former roommate and currently unemployed scoundrel and all-round villain boo sucks yah groan.

HMB is considered to be so-so by all of our Western friends, but by Asian standards he's either astoundingly handsome or disgustingly pretty for a guy. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground in Asian perceptions of him.

There are pictures of him in drag, too. But those are for another day.

As a typical retroish industrial white guy who works as a freelance inventor and quartz shipper under the guise of Cultural Subversion, I am attracted to asian women in a terrible, uncontrollable way. No stereotype of woman has any real power over me, as I've quite got enough troubles on my own.

it was merely an observation. imho, ali's avatar picture is far more attractive than her angry picture.

so she's protected from the "compliment" "you're cute when you're angry." which i use on my gf all the time, which sometimes makes her laugh enough that she's a lot less mad, and sometimes rewards me with a nice little love tap.
