Diagnose Boshko! Suffering from ads?

Have had this since Thursday night my time (about noonish Thursday EST), the basic symptoms are:

-Massive fatigue. For example I went to bed at 9 PM yesterday despite normally going to bed at 2PMish, despite waking up 8 minutes later than normal.

-Alternating chills (which includes shivering while at work while wearing a coat) and feeling really hot, chills more common though. Might have a fever, but I don't have a thermometer.

-Really nasty sinus headaches under my left (and only my left) temple, eyebrow and cheekbone (this sympom only developed in the last few days). When I shake my head I hear this cool sloshing sound that seems to origonal from my temple.

-Plugged-up nose, mucus sometimes green.

-Sore throat.

-Little cough, not bad at all, but the ocassional green phlegm worries me a bit.

-Quesy stomach/loss of appetite.

-Face gets funky skeletal look late at night.

I've been taking a lot of acetaminaphen and ibuprofen which do a great job against most of the symptoms (especially the fatigue and the alternating chills/heat), except for the headache. So I'm basically functional as long as I keep pill-popping but when I wake up I'm generally a wreck, same goes if I don't go to bed really early or go to long without taking the pills.

On thursday the headache was pretty minimal and the sore throat was a lot worse, besides that everythings stayed about steady.

So either I've got the worst flu of my life (got basically every flu symptom) or I've got something else and I'd appreciate any information as to which it is. And yes, I trust Apolyton VASTLY more than small town Korean doctors.

The problem with flu like symptoms is that a lot of things start out with flu like symptoms. You could have the flu. You could have mono. You could have Ebola Zaire.

So either hunt down Dr. Strangelove or go find an in-person doctor.

Hmmm did a search on mono and found this:

don't think its that. My only headache is sinus, my sore throat has mostly gone away, my muscles don't ache, lymph nodes not really swollen, no jaundice, no rash and no abdominal soreness.

Could be influenza or mono, but it could be a bacterial sinusitis or something else entirely.

Ebola? Mononucleosis? Talk about melodramatic. Alas there is no such thing as an online blood test so if things get worse he will have to see a doctor. Without more information it is impossible to act. But a strong flu can be very unpleasant.

The GP doctor in my town sucks horrifically, he didn't even bother taking my temperature last time I was there. This wouldn't be so annoying if I didn't have a low-grade cold ALL October and then a nasty middle ear infection in November that I only got over about two weeks before this thing kicked in. Aaaaaargh!

The first time I had mono I only had fatigue as symptom, but then mono was confirmed via blood test. The second time I had it the only major symptoms were fatigue and sore throat (throat so sore I couldn't eat for close to two weeks and lost 15% of my body mass).

Why is mono melodramatic? I've had it twice. Many people get it (ask around).

It's just not that common. Fact is, Boshko has had a change of environment and will be exposed to pathogens his immune system has not yet encountered, so he is picking up these little infections that kids get. And working with kids has exposed him to them. Hence he has had the sniffles for months and now this. He is building up his immune repertoire relevent to Korea.
