GP News, Warline Germany:
Over the past two months, GP ground forces have been consistently advancing northward,
defeating remnants of the German army as they went. Three weeks ago, the GP took Prague after a one-month siege. Now, our forces are just a few miles away from Warsaw
and Berlin. The rapid GP advance has been made possible by the extent to which the
German army was demoralized by their early losses.

To Pan-Asian Republic:
I propose that our armies cooperate in the taking of Warsaw and Berlin, and that
afterwards your nation will keep Warsaw and mine will keep Berlin. In case it would help
to persuade you to allow the GP to keep Berlin, I am currently sending, by air transport, 50 Tungsten-Armoured Hovertanks to your army’s HQ in Eastern Europe. I hope that you will agree to this system.

For several months the German forces had fallen back to regroup and prepare for the inevitable counteroffensive. Much effort was take to fool Germany's enemies into advancing quickly, ahead of their supply lines. In the cities, bombing damage was exaggerated, even staged, to lull the enemy into a false sense of security.

The time was now right. The German Army, the best trained and equipped in the world, battle hardened from the harsh Slavic campaign, attacked. The General Staff had judged Britain and the GP to be the weakest of all of the attackers. Orders were issued to hold the enemy on the other fronts while launching a massive counteroffensive to the north and south.

Against Britain
German bombers emerged from hiding and, flying low to avoid detection and attack, began continuous raids again British territories. London was repeatedly bombed. In two weeks of continuous and surprise bombings, the Royal Air Force ceased to exist. London was reduced to ruin. Terrible casaulty rates were reported from the British. Tens of millions perishedin the bombings. Britain's capacity to produce munitions and equipment for the war was destroyed.

At sea, the German Navy's submarines, which had remained hidden and dormant, began to act. They mercilessly raided British ships carrying supplies to the Skaggerak (Denmark). Not one supply ship go through. Soon, the submarines turned against the Royal Navy itself. Soon the bottom of the North and Baltic Seas were littered with sunken British ships. The Royal Navy had been taken by surprise. Well over two hundred warships, including all of the Royal Navy's carriers, cruisers, submarines, landing ships, and most of Britain's destroyers were sunk.

In Denmark, with their supply lines cut, the British Expeditionary Force was starving. All of the aircraft which had assisted in their attack and which were providing protection had been recalled to the home island to defend against German bombings. Soon the German Air Force began to rule the skies over both the Skaggerak and the British Isles. The Royal Air Force was destroyed. Then came the ground attack. The Germans, supported by total air superiority, drove the British back from Kiel, and into the sea. The British expeditionary force, battered and powerless, unable to defend itself, was trapped at the northernmost tip of the Skagerrak. It was like Dunkirk, but this time the British Navy would be unable to save the army. The Germans, after a brief pause to consolditate their gains, attacked. It was a massacre. It would be a day the British would mourn forever. The British Army was destroyed.

Against the GP
The German Air Force son threw itself against the GP. Fighting was brutal, but in the end, total air superiority soon lay in the hands of the Germans. By using bombing and attack runs to support their advance, the Germans began to drive the Romans back. Roman losses were staggering. Over two thrids of their army was killed or captured. The Germans too hand high losses, but with Germany now fully mobilized for war and the millions of well-trained reservists called up, the losses were of no consequence. Within a month of the attack, the GP Army lay in ruins before them, in no position to stop the German advance.

In other news, the German military police have finished their investigations and several officers have been arrested for committing heinous crimes in the Slavic campaign. Their activities were neither sanctioned or approved of by the German government, but the mere possibility of such crimes resulted in a vote of no confidence in the Reichstag and the election of a new Chancellor.

On the Eastern Front
The Asian offensive has been successfully halted. Casualties for the Asians number in the millions, yet they have no trouble sending up fresh troops, given their huge population. Unfortunately, many of these troops are rather poorly trained...

The Asian offensive has been halted, and German warplanes have easily eliminated the inferior North Asian air force. Having overextended supply lines, there is litte hope of getting new planes or trained pilots to fight in time. The German Army is massing for a counteroffensive to completely and totally drive the Asian enemy from German soil.

In Other News
These war criminals have been turned over the European Empire for a fair trial. Compensation has been delivered to the areas where these crimes took place. All of Germany is disgraced by the actions of these few madmen and the Chancellor has issued a full and complete apology to the people in question.

To the GP
If you halt your attacks, we will be generous in the peace settlement. Your army is in no position to stop us.

To the European Empire and the Universe of Allied Nations
Long ago we signed an alliances of mutual defense. Where were you when Germany was so wrongly attacked?

To the Republic of North Asia
We apologize for our actions. We were unaware that the war crimes were perpetrated. The criminals will now stand trial in the European Empire, where, hopefully, they will undergo a fair trial and will be executed.

The GP forces were amazed that the German counterattack somehow failed to notice them. The evil German Empire instead had atacked the neutral New Roman EMpire. Pledging to support the NRE's rights of neutrality, the GP continued its attacks. All ten of the GP air carriers have took off, and a total of 500 GP elite attack fighters are now engaged in an air war against the Germans. The GP planes, with their Tungsten Armour and Microfusion engines, easily outmaneuvered and outlasted the German planes in hundreds of dogfights all over the Balkans. After a three week long air war, the German air force had been all but annihilated except for in northwestern Germany. GP reconnaisance aircraft located the last of the hidden German airbases, which were duly bombed to obliteration by the GP bomber force. With over 200,000 elite, well-trained troops still in Germany, and about 300 Tungsten-Armoured Hovertanks, the GP soon halted the German advance into New Roman Empire territory, and even began advancing towards Berlin once again.

To Germany: If you will peacefully hand over Berlin to the 3SWE, and let all the 3SWE members keep their current holdings in Germany, then we will allow you to remain in control of Bavaria and Badem-Wurtemberg. Otherwise, your nation will eventually be obliterated.

OOC: ScottF, you can't now bring your air force back a 2nd time. It has been destroyed by my superior technology. You can't once again simply say that most of your air force was hidden. That trick only works once.

In other news, German scientists report a breakthrough in biotechnology. They have successfully researched and developed and bred a type of bacteria that can eat tungsten. The bacteria can be released into the atmosphere in large clouds, drifting over enemy forces and causing all weapons tungsten used by the enemy to be rendered useless. German bombers have begun to drop bombs containing the bacteria during their bombing raids on Britain. German submarines have fired numerous cruise missiles containing this bacteria into GP territory rendering much of their military useless. The German advance against enemy forces, particularly those of the GP, is being greatly assisted by this miracle weapon.

OOC: This is not a weapon of mass destruction. It does not harm people and therefore does not come under the rules against weapons of mass destruction set at the start of the thread. If GeoSpam can simply post that he discovered microfusion or whatever and get away with it, then I can too.

IC:
German scientists and bioengineers are reportedly working on a series of even more sinister bacterial strains which would consume such commonplace materials as plastic, glass, steel, titanium, and silicon, the basis of all of the world's computer systems. Such weapons, when (OOC: note, not if) released will take the world back to the Dark Ages.

The European Empire has hereby declared war on the British Empire, the Pan-Asian Republic, and the Great Princepalty. They have invaded our dearest allies, what the EE could call the East European Empire. We also invite Scandinivia and Universe of Allied Nations to join in this crusade. A Europe for Europeans and Koenhis!

Saharan Africa had surrendered, and a puppet Empire with a European as Imperialist has replaced it. Saharawi (West Sahara) has also allied to the European Empire due to the English colony nearby. The Europeans control:

The Pan-Asian Republic urges the GP to not remove forces from the area. A proper trial will go on for the accused. But our forces will remain in the Former Slav Confederation, to liberate it. Greater Germany will have to go down to its original size. As of now, all of our forces have moved out of Germany, and can stay to rebuild any infrastructal damage.

We will keep nearly 366,000 Troops in the Former Slav Confederation. Our Troops nor their Pulsar (Plasma) Weapons were not damaged at all, since they are not Tungsten. None of our Tanks are either. They are Pan-Asian Built Tanks called Plasma Tanks.

responded to that post. Now you have gone back and altered your original post, after I already responded to it! That is comparable to going back in time and changing your actions. WarVoid, shouldn't there be a rule of some sort against changing a post, especially one dealing with a war, after other participants have already responded to it? ScottF, I had not thought that you would be so lacking in integrity! I may very well quit this thread (which will most likely please ScottF)!

England Falls!

King Arthur was killed in a massive bombing raid while in transit to the secure bunkers in Wales. During the massive bombing raids, most of the British government officials and successors to the throne were massacred by incendiary or high explosive weapons. It was almost as if the Germans had this planned for some time...

The grieving British people were then notified, via radio stations and newsletters (TV and Internet were taken out) of the defeat and then massacre of their forces in Denmark. In less than a week, the entire British government fell, and the people, clamoring to stop the war, begged for an end to the war. The German ambassadors met our surviving generals in London and in an hour, it was over. England would trade its independence for an end to the war. From now onward, it was a German province, and the war ravaged civilians turned to basic survival under the eyes of the british military, now under nominal German control!

(OOC: Yay Scottf is back! ALso this is good since i have to stop playing so many war threads due to time constraints with work, my stories and other things! So now i am done with this one, but i will still check in and cheer my allies on!)

Ok, ScottF, since you went back and altered the post in which you counterattacked, (a despicable deed indeed ) this whole mess between our countried will be impossible to sort out. Thus...

To Germany: We will sign a peace treaty (and maybe even an alliance pact) with your nation, thus ending our war, on these conditions:
1. You allow the GP to retain control of former Yugoslavia, Romania, and Ukraine.
2. You help the GP counter the EE's aggression in northern Africa.
3. You join the 3SWE and attend the upcoming 3SWE conference in Perth.
4. (OOC) You rescind your extremely unrealistic discovery of the Tungsten-Eating Bacteria.
5. (OOC) You help me, GeoDan, figure out what's considered unrealistic and what isn't in this type of thread.

If you dislike certain parts of these terms, we are willing to negotiate to a small extent.

All things are relative. While Africa is busy improveing in the past 400 years, Germany is busy improving too. Since Germany started out better off, they will improve faster. That is part of my logic. I think you will agree that it makes sense. It would be very difficult for third world nations to outpace first world nations in many developments unless they got extremely lucky. You got lucky once with microfusion.

Plus, I find the idea of the sheer distance you are transporting men to fight absurd, even in 2400. You must ship food, equipment, and munitions for each of you soldiers all the way from Africa. That is rather difficult, if not impossible, for the most powerful and modern nations on earth, let alone Africa.

Metal-eating bacteria is not the ludicrous result of some pipe dream. They exist right now, though limited, and with 400 years in improvements and advances in bio-technology, it should be very easy to breed such bacterial strains.

Bill's conquests seem absurd when you first look at them, but remember that his conquests are mostly desert.

Giancarlo, on the other hand, has overrun India, which has a population of (in around 2400 at least) two billion people. Indians do not like Chinese. I doubt Giancarlo's three million man army could maintain his control of India should even ten percent of the Indian population decide to rise in revolt. And yet Giancarlo continues his attacks to here there and everywhere. Conquests which he cannot possibly maintain control of, with far to many people to suppress, and with far to much territory to efficiently rule.
