Due to the massive cost of the program, a 5% special tax is now being levied on clothing, food and the tax is increased on luxuries by 1% to 6%(which is PA standard!!). Also the program is being staggered with half in 1.5 years, the second half in 3 years. (I hope this makes it more realistic or atleast believable!! I am trying to be militant!)
Research is also beginning on Microfusion in cooperation with the other 3 schimtars members!
The Mauritania Campaign is now completed with the last of the Federal forces being driven into neighboring nations or surrendering to our troops. Mauritania is now an official colony of the British Empire and settlers and engineering battalions are already moving in to develop this new land once again, after centuries of despotic rule.
Tax protestors are being arrested and shown videos obtained from the Slavic Wars showing German atricities on the steppes and their fearsome naval vessels wreaking havoc on Slavic Shipping. This is in an effort to show them why we are building such a massive navy and secretly conscripting troops, and to convince them and their compatriots to cease protesting.
To World: We have recently obtained video from partisans and British operatives of German atrocities on the Slavic front. Segments of the video, shot from a distance, apparently show German troops executing families of military troops and officers after brutally raping and torturing both women and children. Other segments show a new holocaust underway with the apparent execution of minorities and ethnically impure people! We must put a stop to this at once!
To 3 Sabres: We must put a stop to the German brutality in the steppes. we should consider a blockade or even military intervention to save the people from the long thwarted German Lebensraum! My forces are on full alert and are ready to go and my fleet is putting to sea as we speak!
To Royal States of America: We are in contct with underground Canadian Resistance groups waiting for a vulnerability until they strike! Please relinquish control of Canada or else we may find ourselves aiding and abetting rebels in your canadian states!

Currently en route to the North Sea, from the GP military bases, are:
1 Tungten-Armoured Elite Dreadnought, the GPS Freedom
1 Carrier, the GPS Hamilcar, carrying 5 Air-Carriers, and numerous fighters and bombers

Several transport ships carrying 150,000 troops, half of the GP’s Grand Army, led by the

GP News:
GP authorities have ordered the conscription of 200,000 more troops and the production of
300 Tungsten-Armoured Hovertanks. These processes should take a few months to
complete.
GP shipyards have begun production of 1 Tungsten Armoured Elite Dreadnought, 2
carriers, and 4 battleships. Construction of these should take about 8 months.
Additionally, fighter and bomber production rates have been increased, and several more
Air Carriers are in the works.
A poll taken by the Independent African News Service reports that 84% of all GP citizens
support furthered involvement in the 3SWE.

In a stunning move today, Prime Minister Lu Meng ordered the 365,000 troops, 375 ships, and 200 plasma fighters/bombers at Okinawa to invade Japan. Suprise, since most thought China would disarm, combined with a blitzkrieg attack, equaled devastation for southern Japan. Kyushu island fell within hours, though heavy fighting is still going on in the cities of Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Fukuoka, and Kitakyushu. It is unknown the casualties, but believed to be in the thousands. Electromagnetic pulse weapons* have crippled Japanese communications, destroyed almost all Japanese electronics, and created havoc for metallic items by causing them to magnetize. Plasma bombers already at Kyushu have started to carpet bomb the cities of Yamaguchi and Hiroshima, which are on Honshu island, and Matsuyama, which is on Shikoku island.
60,000 more troops, along with 50 ships, and 50 plasma bombers have left Shanghai, joining in the invasion. A lesser force of 10,000 troops, 10 ships, and 30 plasma bombers have left Qingdao, also heading for Japan.
Resistance movements have made the invasion of Shikoku island less successful.
Public opinion of the invasion is mixed; a poll shows that 61% agree with the invasion, 18% don't agree, and 21% don't care.

Our infantry has very slowly grown in size over time. We now have 650.000 infantry + 50.000 British troops. Other equipment, various war machines are scarce. As the 3SWE wants us to attack against Germany, we have massed 200.000 troops to Baltic area. The troops are undergoing special training for the Baltic area just now. We except that we don't need very much troops there, if we join our troops with UAN's and then attack the Germans together. Scandinavian army is easily able to send 200.000 more troops if even small troubles come.

The Scandinavian democracy has bought way too much N1000 from the N A N O technologies lately. We simply can not afford this all. I advice _very_ deep consideration before loading our economy with even more spending.

On the way to the base at Portsmouth, England, most of the GP expeditionary force makes an unexpected turn and enters the Mediterranean Sea. In a blitzkrieg attack, two air carriers launch from the GPS Hamilcar. High up in the stratosphere, the hulking planes make their way over Germany’s Balkan territory. The air carriers launch hordes of elite attack fighters which swoop down towards the enemy territory below. Before most of the German planes can even get off the ground, the GP fighters sweep across the Balkans, destorying hundreds of enemy planes sitting silently at their tarmacs. Those few German planes that do take off in time manage to down 4 GP planes before they are obliterated. By the end of the day, the GP fleet is just south of Sicily, and several sqadrons of bombers fly towards the Balkans. Carefully avoiding civilian areas, they bomb all through the night, destroying nearly every German military base in the Balkans. Only 5 GP bombers are downed by anti-aircraft fire. The next morning, the GP fleet has reached the Adriatic Sea. Covered by fire from the GP battleships, the elite GP marines make landings up and down the Balkan coast, centering their forces at Dubrovnik. By the next evening, 150,000 troops have safely landed. GP General Donner Khan had engineered the Dubrovnik landing perfectly. The Germans put up some defense, but the GP troops with their Tungsten-Armoured Hovertanks prevailed. By month’s end thay had overrun all the German territory in the Balkans, as well as Romania, Hungary, and Austria. Adapting the N1000 they had received from Scandinavia to land use, they quickly constructed a chain of defenses known as the “Balkan Perimeter” to defend
their territory. Long live the 3SWE! Conquer the genocidal Germans!
So far in the Germany campaign we have lost 8,000 troops.

England goes to war! King Arthur cheered his troops onward from the observation room in the sub levels of Buckingham Palace as they marched into the yawning troops transports waiting to take them to their invasion bases in Scandanavia.
Royal Navy begins blockade of Denmark and Germany! The entire navy is there in force completely sealing off the Baltic from the rest of the world and keeping tabs on Kiel, Hamburg and the western Denmark coastline for German ships. So far 3 destroyers have taken light damage from German shore batteries, but quick return fire changed that, and the batteries and the surrounding 100 meters are no more than craters now.
In the air, Royal Air Force fighters swatted German planes down from the skies over the blockading fleet in an attempt to keep air superiority, and bombers took their toll on Hamburg and Kiel, the nearest major cities to the upcoming main thrust of our forces.
In other news, a German submarine has sunk a British trasport killing over 800 people, which are included in the Casualties section.

Light fighting still goes on in the southern Japan, though most areas have been secured. Moderate fighting is still going on in the city of Kitakyushu.
Shui forces have captured the southern two-thirds of Shikoku island. Japanese reinforcements from Osaka have been sent to defend Tokushima, slowing down the Shui advance.
Meanwhile, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, and the areas surrounding it have been captured, though heavy resistance fighting is going on in the city of Hiroshima. Civilians with old-fashioned guns are hiding in the ruins of Hiroshima, making it dangerous to travel during the night. Shui soldiers report the city looks like it's been hit by a nuclear bomb.
Casualities are estimated to be over 25,000. With the successful Chinese invasion, public approval is rising. 74% agree, 9% don't agree, and 17% don't care.
The Nationalist Party and the Modern Saigon Party have signed into a coalition, giving them the ability to challenge the power of the United Democracy Party. Following this, the Lower House began the preliminary discussions on whether or not to join the 3SWE.
Emperor Mingzong issued a decree today, re-allowing the use of firecrackers in a city's downtown area.
A bomb exploded in the remote town of Danba, Sichuan, today, killing 27 and wounding 234 in a large shopping center and a nearby bank. Authorities blame it on the Five Pecks of Rice band, a terrorist organization which wants the establishment of Daoism as the official "religion".
A bomb exploded in a paper factory in Phnom Penh, Cambodia yesterday, killing 47 workers and wounding 349. Large fires burned in the factory for over 14 hours, causing millions of yuan in damage. Authorities blame it on the Cambodian Separatists Movement. Authorities also link the bombing to the mass killing of 52 Christians and Muslims in Saigon two months ago. The CSM denies both allegations and insteads blames it on the Cambodian Liberation Army, a Marxist organization which also advocates for Cambodian independence.
Last night, the Lower House approved a bill increasing the minimum wage from 15 yuan an hour to 20 yuan an hour. The bill passed narrowly, in part because of the Southern Chinese Conservative Party's campaign against the raising of the minimun wage. The bill will need to go the Upper House in order to be put into effect.
The Upper House rejected the bill to increase environmental standards. The bill would have made coal mining illegal and would limit the amount of trees available to be cut down. The Lower House can still pass the bill with a three-fourths majority however.
Minister of Justice Yang Feng was charged with the murder and raping of two women today. Lao Huo and Liu Shi, ages 29 and 31, were found dead five days ago in a ditch by a restaurant. Lao Huo was stabbed seven times in the chest and had her throat slit and Liu Shi was shot with a gun four times in the head and twice in the chest. Both victims' hands and feet were cut off and were later found in a nearby clothing store gutter. Yang Feng called the charges ludicrous and an attempt to force him out of office.
The recent protest against the raising of income taxes from 14% to 21% was met with violence. In Shanghai 65 people were killed and over 400 were arrested. Local schools universities have been shut down and civil disorder reigns thoughout the Shanghai area.
In Guangdong province, a heavy thunderstorm has flooded thousands of square kilometers and forced millions of people from their homes. Over 15,000 people have been killed in all since last week, when the thunderstorms began.

Great Principality News:
-Renowned GP scientist Vitruvian Bob has finally discovered the secret of “Applied
Microfusion!” His laboratory has already produced 20 Microfusion Engines, 15 of which
have been shipped to the GP Germany expeditionary force headquarters in the Balkans. The GP has sent files detailing the construction of Microfusion Engines to its 3SWE allies: Britain, Scandinavia, the RNA, and the UAN. GP Prince Hamilcar Dan requests that if any of these nations discover new ways to implement these enginess, they would send the files to GP labs. To celebrate this glorious discovery, the first of the new GP ships, a Tungsten-Armoured Elite Dreadnought, has been equipped with a Microfusion Engine and has been named the GPS Vitruvian.
-Elections were held last week for the GP parliament, which advises the Prince. The four main political parties were:
Freedom Party: This center-right party fully supports the Prince. It also supports GP
involvement in 3SWE and in the war against Germany.
Labor Party: This center-left party supports the Prince as long as the GP is politically and economically stable. It too, supports the 3SWE and the German war. However, the labor party wants the GP parliament to be granted greater political powers.
Nationalist Party: This extremely conservative party believes that the GP should drop out of the 3SWE and pursue the conquest of Germany on its own.
Communist Party: This party believes that a communist system should be instated in the
GP, and wants the nation to cease communication with all other nations and focus purely on internal affairs.

Tokushima and the northern third of Shikoku island has fallen after 8 days of heavy fighting. Before leaving for Osaka, the remaining Japanese troops set fire to the city, burning it to the ground. However, the enemy troops were unable to reach Osaka. 30 Shui ships along with 20 plasma fighters were blocking the way to Osaka and ambushed the enemy ships, causing chaos for the enemy troop transports. Ship after ship sank in the ambush. Thousands of lives were lost. The troops that did get to Osaka told about the massive Shui invasion, spreading fear and panic throughout the city.

Troops in Japanese campaign: 400,000
300,000 troops, 125 ships, and 75 plasma fighters/bombers invaded South Korea today. Surprise, as most thought that China was too busy with Japan to worry about Korea, along with another blitzkrieg style attack, made the invasion seem like Japan all over again. The cities of Ch'onan, Nonsan, Chonju, Kwangju, and Mokp'o have been taken, though civilians surviving the attack are starting restistance movements throughout the cities and surrounding countryside. Shui troops had even reached the city of Taegu, but were pushed back by Korean troops who had retreated from the captured cities.
Electromagnetic pulse weapons were again used, destroying communications, and wreaking havoc on electronics and metals. Once stable skyscrapers collapsed, as a result of the steel framework attracting and repulsing each other.
Scientists have announced the invention of the gravship. It will be quite some time however, before the technology can be perfected for commercial and military use.
Minister of Justice Yang Feng was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder today and will receive the death penalty. The death penalty will be carried out by public stoning.
