IC: The Canadian government wishes to inform the Slavic Confederation that any attack against our allies the Baltic States, or Germany herself, will be considered an attack against the Republic of Canada and will be responded in kind.
50,000 troops have arrived in Riga today in a secret convoy to help the nation defend itself in the event of war. Furthermore, the collection of massive transports also unloaded 100 Tanks, 100 Howitzers and Artillery Cannons, and 100 Armored Personnel Carriers. They are currently being deployed around the city of Riga, where they were unloaded.
All Canadian Reserves are being mobilized and the Armored Corps is being readied for transport to Riga to defend the Baltic States from Slavic Aggression.
To USA: Should the Slavic Confederation attack the UBS, or your fleet in the Baltic, would you be willing to ferry 6 squadrons of CF-18 Hornets to our troops near Riga, we are not in posession of a Carrier. Secondly, we are interested in the construction or purchase of a carrier, prefferably a Forrestal or other small carrier for our fleet's use.
To Slavic Confederation: Do not, we repeat, do not invade the UBS! You will be dreadfully sorry if you do! The troops we have ferried across are merely the tip of our reserves, and our equipment is of better quality than the garbage your Soviet masters supplied you with. This is your last warning!

If you had bothered to read my first few posts, you would have noticed that the people of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Belarus all voted by plebiscite to unify. Yes, even the people in Belarus. They also voted for Arvydas Sabonis as Prime Minister, and elected all of the members of Parliament. Also, if I remember correctly, it is violating the rules of this thread to claim that there is any unrest in another country. Arvydas Sabonis is a Lithuanian, not a German, and Belarus is equally represented in the UBS Parliament along with the other member states. The UBS government was in no way instated by Germany. Also, you ought to note that most intelligent and sane people in the world today have realized that it was the Germna leadership during WW2 that was Nazi, and not the populace. Do I call all Poles infidels simply because they were polytheistic before their conversion to Christianity in over 1000 years ago??? You cannot blame current citizens of any given nation for what that nation did in the past. And as for your claim that my nation is anti-human rights, I simply ask you if anything in any of my posts gives any merit whatsoever to that farcifal claim, and I also point out your nation's brutal expulsion of Germans who have lived there for generations. Also, claiming that your army has 2 million troops and will soon reach 3 million, that may be the most unrealistic statistic ever to be seen in a story thread here! The current army of Russia is only about 1.25 million. How can Poland, Ukraine, and Slovakia then support an army of 3 million only a few years from today? THAT IS TOO UNREALISTIC!!!! Already, just one week after the UBS Parliament's request (note: it was a request, not an order. However, since patriotism is and has been extremely high in the UBS, as I have stated in many of my posts, many people are answering the request) for all able-bodied citizens to enlist in the military or work in the military factories, response has been very high. (I think I need to explain this here. Think about it. Suppose you're about 22 years old in this situation in a country full of patriotism. If some of you're friends are enlisting, you will probably feel peer pressure to do so as well. I am saying this to counter any of Luk's arguments that this is unrealistic.) In addition to the current UBS military (1 million troops), there are currently another 1.5 million enlistees being trained. Depending on how long they have been in training, they should be ready for service between 1 and 4 weeks from now. Dozens of former generals have come out of retirement to help make sure that all the new recruits are being very well-trained. Those citizens who have gone to work in the factories as the Parliament (Note: Belarussians have equal representation in the UBS parliament) requested have given the Baltic States' military production a tremendous boost. Tanks, aircraft, missiles, and other munitions are being produced at an extremely high rate. Directed by top UBS engineers, the quality of what is being produced has been kept as high as ever.
United Baltic States Prime Minister Arvydas Sabonis (Note: in the election for Prime Minister, over 80% of Belarussians voted for Sabonis) made a speech to his country today. He told the people of his nation that the very existence of the UBS was being threatened by the vile leadership of the Slav Confederation. He told them that for their nation to prevail, each and every person needs to contribute in any way they can. He said that if the war was lost, the UBS would be subjected to the same racism, persecution, and totalitarianist exploitation as the Slav Confederation. He ended the speech with an emotional tribute to all the people and the rich heritage of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Belarus.
After the speech, parliament held a vote of confidence for Sabonis. Streets all over the UBS (yes, even in Belarus) were full of crowds rallying in support of their homeland. Preliminary reports just in have shown that the number of new enlistees in the military have skerocketed just in the past few hours this afternoon.
A vote by Parliament held yesterday gave full support to the allied operations in the Baltic Sea. UBS officials have agreed to share all relevant intelligence information with leaders of the allied forces to reduce the effectiveness of a possible Slav attack on the allied fleets.

I've been brought in by Bolo to try and set some things straight about the Ukraine, which I've researched extensively in preparation for controlling the nation in the Destiny of the World story forum and just out of general interest.
Okay, Luk, this is how it works. The T-84 is the Ukrainian rival of the Russian T-90. As of the year 2000, very few T-84s were even in service. Yes, the T-84 is on a very even playing field with the T-90, maybe even beating it in some aspects, but Russia would be able to tear apart the T-84s just because of sheer numbers. I really hope you don't think a T-84 could stand up to three T-90 tanks, because that's about the ratio you're looking at concerning a T-84 v T-90 showdown.
And yes, Luk is exactly right. As of 1992(the last time the Ukrainian released an official inventory on the internet), the Ukraine had the second largest armor force in Europe. They had 180 PT-76 light tanks, which would last about 17 minutes in battle, 200 T-62 MBTs which would last 15 minutes, 300 un-upgraded T-80s which would last 45 minutes, 1,000 un-upgraded T-72s which would last 45 minutes, 2,100 T-64s which would last 30 minutes, and 2,700 T-55s which would last about 5 minutes in battle. To be frank, about the most you could do with 4,800 of those tanks is turn 'em on their side and use them as a baracade. The rest of the tanks are mediocre at best, and until the Ukraine, in the real world, recovers from its financial crisis enough to the point where it can actually spend some money on its military, the T-84 MBT won't enter as common usage as the T-55 has in the Ukrainian military. The sheer numbers are there, but well over 2/3 of the tanks making up those numbers are deathtraps.
Yes, the Ukraine has 1200 aircraft in its air force and naval air wing combined, including recon and fuelers. No, they are not "very good," unless you consider the Yak-28, Su-15, or MiG-23 "very good." It does have 220 MiG-29 Fulcrum, but they are in deperate need of upgrade, and the Ukraine hasn't the cash to do it.
To give Luk some credit, though, the Ukraine in fact does have the world's largest arms industry, and the Ukraine and her companies(specifically the KhKBM, Kharkiv Malyshev Design Bureau) are responsible for each and every one of the amazing takes that the Soviets had at their fingertips during World War II and immediately thereafter. Every major Russian breakthrough in weapons design was a direct result of Ukrainian R&D. That does not, however, mean the Ukraine is the leading technological state in Europe. Prohibitive legislation regarding the exchange of information has hindered that, and the lack of government funds for R&D programs have all but ground the Ukraine to a halt in terms of new developments. The
Ukraine also has massive productions capabilities in every aspect, from aircraft to tanks to warships. There are large aircraft facilities in Kiev and Kharkiv, MASSIVE tank facilities in Kharkiv, and warships can be constructed at any of the various Crimean and Ukrainian ports, including Mykolayiv, Kerch, Sevastopol, and Kiev itself. The problem, once again, is that the Ukrainian arms industry depends upon exporting goods, since the Ukrainian government is largely unable to afford to fire up production lines for its own purposes.
Oh, yes, and Luk is also correct about the Ukraine's numerous natural resources. Did you know that the Ukraine is, far and away, the world's number one supplier of iron ore? The next closest processes about half as much as the Ukraine per year.
I hope this clears up the mix of half-truths and misunderstood statements concerning the Ukraine that have been floating around. I did my best to set things straight. If I'm needed any further, just let me know. Bolo knows where to reach me.

Additionally, Luk, you don't have the liscenses to any Sukhoi or Mikoyan-Gurevich fighters or bombers whatsoever. The facilities you have scattered about in your nation could feasibly produce them with a little retooling, but you haven't the rights to do so.

First - The Main Battle Tank T-90 is not better then T-80... And all your messages about the greatness of T-90 is not right. This tank is worser then T-80UM and the Soviet specialist know that they ****ed the work on T-90. They started to do the T-80 Black Eagle, which was halted because Soviet Union Collapse, and I started to do it in this game....
I combined the forces of Poland, Ukraine, ans Slovakia, because Ukraine is the greatest part of it, but Polish potential is good too...
Ukraine had in 1997 190 000 people in Land Army, 120 000 in forces of aridefense and airstrike. and 18 000 in Naval Forces...
So it is 330 000 people. Your data is not correct.
I combined this with 250 000 of Polish solider and aprox. of 60 000 of Slovakian army.
The Ukraine Airforces have many tactical bombers and good aircrafts MiG-29 but we can not forget about MiG-23 and MiG-21 which are not good but in massive forces they have an important role. Dont forget abou Su-24, and Su-25 which Ukraine has 125 not 90.
And 50 Su-27 Flanker....
And dont forget that all of equipment was rebuilded and strenghten by the great Ukrainian facilites and for one year We prodecuded many tanks T-80UM, and upgraded many of them. We do need the license of Russia, because we are now in hard situation and we cant reach Russia Authorities but we will pay if they will stand with us.

Ho-hum. Yet again I must refute the Polish nationalist garbage that Luk spouts in every single post. He cannot afford a military so large, especially with two thirds of his trade gone. His economy is collapsing. With his ports blockaded, and his main trade partners embargoing him, the Slavic Confederate is doomed.
Unlike the German soldier, the German mark has never been defeated in battle and never lost a war. Germans can lose the war but win the peace. It is strange.
Also, in the twelve years of Adolf Hitler's Thousand Year Reich, the NSDAP never ONCE received a majority vote from the German people, and never once held a majority of the seats in the Reichstag. In the Egyptian Desert, groups of F-15s and F-16s are conducting bombing tests and tactical tests, to see how their accuracy and effectiveness is, this is how it rates:

First, Ukraine has more potential then Germany and it is the facts, Russia didnt blockade us until now... but even if, Ukraine has more national resources, and farms etc. The Slavonic country could resist mor with international blockade then Germany,
and Germany lost two wars in last years... And Polish Soldier are better then German, because in Polish history Germans was winning only then, when Germany had min. of 2:1 soldiers... With equal numbers they always loose.

No, the NSDAP never received a majority. Not even in 1939. Of course, I don't know what lies Polish textbooks say, but I have read numerous books and seen actual voting statistics for this period which show that they never got a majority.
Because Luk will now claim that many of these books are propaganda by the Germans, I should point out that one book was written by an Englishman, another by a Frenchman, one by an American and one by a Czechan. Articles in reknowned worldwide historical journals have also pointed out this fact.
I find it more likely that either Luk is incorrect or he has been lied to. I doubt so many sources could be wrong.
He should also noted that there are fifteen million Germans with military training and fit for service, and it should be noted that I have been expanding the German military more than he has, and I can afford even greater expansion still.

Air strikes have been launched from the John F Kennedy and John C Stennis in the Black Sea. Repeated warnings from the Battle group to the Ukrainian fleet to not approach closer than three hunder miles were ignored by the Ukrainians.
60 F-18Ds escorted by another 40 F-14s, with 6 EA-6B prowlers jamming radar and E-2C hawkeyes providing radar coverage.
The Air armada closed on the blind Ukrainian fleet, its radar's being jammed by the most sofisticated systems on board the EA-6B.
The Ukrainian force of 5 Cruisers, 5 destroyers, and 21 frigates was hit by a blizzard of Harpoon anti-ship missiles, the F-18s releasing theor deadly cargo well out of range of the Ukrainian ability to engage them. Along with the Jamming the Ukrainian ships were blind, the total American superiority in technology made the battle a foregone conclusion, only two cruisers were sinking and they were heavily damaged.
American E-2Cs spotted a Ukrainian air armada coming towards the fight to play. 30 Mig-29s, 20 Su-27s, and 100 Mig-21s they were out for blood. As they entered the electronic battlefield the EA-6Bs shut down their radars and blocked out their radio's, blind and deaf they did their best to fight on. The forty F-14s escorting the F-18s fired of two phoenix missiles each at the Su-27s and Mig-29s, eighty missiles streaked in on fifty aircraft. Only six survived to find Amraam's coming their way next, they reacted as quickly as they could releasing their AA-11 archer missiles killing six F-18s and two F-14s. The rest of the Su-27s and Mig-29s were blown out of the sky and then the real slaughter began as the nearly helpless Mig-21s were massacred by the Angry American pilots. The poor Ukrainian and Polish pilots flying the Mig-21s might as well have been flying coffins. Cause they all died in a hail of missiles and cannon.

In the Baltic the Polish fleet met a similar fate as the Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan destroyed it in port. The Polish Air force sent a similar armada that the Ukraine and met with little success as the illtrained and badly equipped Polish by pilots when down in the dozens for every American plane they shot down. Just like in the Black Sea EA-6Bs shut down the Polish radar with its effective jamming.

The fourth fleet and ninth fleet have opened up with sustained Cruise missiles barrages of the Slav confederation. Such targets were the Kharkiv tank works, the aircraft factories at Kiev and Kharkiv, as well as the shipyards Nikolayev North and south. The cruise missiles hit Polish shipyards and arms factories as well as several military airfields. Preliminary satelite data indicates that nearly two hundred aircraft were destroyed on the ground as they were packed so close together.
Los Angelas class subs sunk several Kilo and Sierra III class attack submarines in the Baltic and Black Sea.

When the new French president was elected, the French expansion engulfed the Benelux nation. The French attempted to shove Francophone sentiments down the Dutch, Belgian, and Luxembourger people. Trying to make them French. However the Dutch patriots refused to accept Francophone domination. Supported by Queen Beatrix they fought against the French forces. Finally they won back their independance. Now the Netherlands stand on a precepace. Faced by France to the south and a brewing storm to the east, Holland must find a way to keep her newly won freedom at all costs.

OOC: Luk, due to the embargo by the Arab states and the other embargoes and blockades by other naitons, the Slac Confederation essentially can no longer import petroleum. You must therefore rely on your own oil sources, which are vastly insufficient (yes, I did research this). Your nation does not have sufficient fuel for all of you tanks and aircraft, and means of transporting troops. You threatened to take Berlin, but in all realism, you do not have enough fuel for an army large enough to do this.
IC: Approximately 5 million additional UBS citizens have now received throrough military training, due to Parliament's call for volunteers to enlist in the army. Most have been sent back to their homes to continue with their normal jobs, but they have been informed that at a moment's notice, they will need to report to their local military centers. The UBS military factories are producing aircraft, tanks, and munitions at a tremendous rate. The UBS military now posesses 516 strategic bombers, 1640 land-based fighters, 7140 main battle tanks, and over 2500 surface-to-air missiles and anti-missile artillery batteries. These missiles and missile batteries have been stationed around all major UBS cities, military and industrial centers, and airfields. The UBS air force has been put on alert to avoid any surprise attacks.
The UBS Defense Minister warns the Slav Confederation that if they engage in any more hostile actions towards any of the UBS's allies, at the snap of a finger 6 million well-trained troops will join the UBS standing army. The people of the UBS, who have now received military training, will not hesitate to defend their beloved homeland.

The Slav Confederate Armada attacked the US Fleet and smashed them from the surface of Black Sea. Over 250 tactical bombers, and 2000 aircrafts were prepared for the attack of US Fleet. US Fleet which is defendless near the territory of enemy, which has the good airforce are ended. The missles launched from Kiev, Charkov, and Lvov reached the target ans sunk all Carriers with all equipment. The 20 Aircrafts from Slav Forces were destroyed and in large numbers that was MiG-21. Many American fighter started and had no fuel to land, because their carriers were destroyed. Almost 2000 aircrafts were doing an extremly hunting, and all fleet was destroyed.
Today 1 million Slav Soldiers attacked Baltic States and entered to Belarussia and Lithuania.
Over 2500 tanks entered to belarussia from south and aboout 1000 from the west. The cities of Grodno, Baranowiczi, and Brest was first attacked by Slav Spetznaz divisions. That action was supported by the 200 tactical bombers which attacked that cities and destroyed barracks and Military buildings. The 1000 Aircrafts supported the attack of lands forces, and additional 500 Su class aircrafts destroyed the aircrafts stationed in airports.
The Great Mechanized corps, with BMPs, over 200 attack helos, and 400 transport helos smashed the opposite army in Lithuania, because of lack of their power.
In Belarussia the surrounded forces defended their position for 2-3 days, but they withdraw because of fire from Air, and Ground. The Slav Tanks with light losses and Mech Infantry overtook the position in Lithuania, and split into two armies - one attacking in north to Estonia, and Latvia, and second attacking Belarussia from North. Being attacked from all sides Belarussian Army was shocked and they withdraw to the position near Minsk. The Slav Army is 20km from Minsk, and almost conquered the all Lithuania, Wilno is almost liberated, the first fights on street was spotted.
"Victory is ours" - the official communication from General Staff of Slav Army.
2 weeks offensive almost destroyed all forces of Lithuania, and shocked the forces of Belarussia.
The losses
25 000 Slav Soldiers died.
60 000 wounded.
800 Tanks destroyed
40 Helos dest.
120 Aircrafts dest.
The next two weeks will be the great siege of Minsk, and Wilno... The artillery awaits.
At German Border Slav Forces are concentrating.

You don't get it, do you, Luk? Bolo massacred your air force. Even the best Russian warplanes are no match for the worst US planes that he used. Your air force is gone. That whole strike of yours against the United States is VOID. I am going to ignore it. I think everyone else should too.

Furthermore, your attack into White Russia is going a bit too fast to be realistic. Your troops could probably be thrown back by a good counterattack. Your surviving planes are stretched thin. If Russia were to enter the war, you would be finished.
