Game 5:

Still too early in the game to make any long-term assessment of which players will succeed and which will fail. England (MFCamillus) certainly has a longer shot than the other three, but he is by no means in an impossible situation.

Over the past 24 hours, the game has moved for the first time in over 3 weeks. Hopefully, we can keep it moving now.

As for myself, I'm doing reasonably well as the Sumerians.

Game 3 was stopped for 2 weeks because one of the four players was gone. We knew he was going. None of us complained about it.

The game is at a crucial point where one civ is being done by another. There is no way I would have wanted to force anybody to find a sub given the circumstances.

Maybe you should try PMs. It's only on a lark I even looked in here.

Don't come in here threatening people. Nobody made the promise to check THIS thread. If a game is moving or is not, it's up to the players in that game to decide. Why don't you post in each thread asking for opinons on that game instead of making blanket statements.

Actually you did... Before the tournament started I said people should check this thread from time to time, to make sure they follow updates...

And the reason why I'm doing this is because it's a TOURNAMENT not just some game, and if the games keeps at current pace, we wont get to second round before 5 years from now... I don't see a reason to drag the tournament longer than it has to...

I have enough on my plate to have to go and check this thread every so often. It's one of the reasons that I have Favorates set up for all of my PBEM's, so that I don;t have to go and hunt them down.

anyways, I'm Persians, In Game #4. We have little bit of war going on at the moment....
