To Russia:
The United States of America is not blind, nor is it oblivious to your plans. If the new Russian government truely wishes to avoid another Cold War, it should consider well the consequences of the military buildup that it is planning.
The United States shall be happy to give the new Russian government as much or as little advice as it wants. Russia's leaders should heed well our first piece of advice. The military buildup your nation is planning will virtually negate any and all economic reforms that are attempted in the coming years. The Russian government's funds should be put to better use, like providing health care and pensions for Russian citizens and for the revamping and reconstruction of the decaying Russian infrastructure.
One more small piece of advice: many elements of the Russian military are as, if not more, corrupt than many others within Russia. Few are the military commanders that are not on the payroll or the Russian mafia. Having the military protect President Putin is most unwise.

Ibrahim watched as fortified Israeli Tanks turned their turrets from left to right. One Guard, he looked like a Jewish Soldier, got out of his enforcements and started walking straight to the boy, Ibrahim. Ibrahim was too scared to move anywere, he didn't run.
"Beat It Kid, we don't want you to get hit by shrapnel, we already have amnesty international trying to accuse use of war crimes."
"Mr. Soldier, why are you in Baghdad? When will you leave?"
"KID, ol' Saddam is down in Basra shooting SCUD's at his own capital. He's the one that started this mess, he's a raving lunatic, we're here to ensure peace of the Jewish Nation. Now scram"
Young Ibrahim din't understand what was going on. He was too young to hate, too young to understand politics.

Message broadcasted to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan & Iraq from Israel
Premier Joolseph spoke
Good Evening people of the middle east. Three Months ago the leaders of your Nations decided that Israel is a threat to their security. The Truth is Israel is just a small Nation, we have little land. Yet somehow, in all this mess, our Blood Brothers - Arabs, people who share a similiar tongue and culture began hating us. Must we all hate? Can we not forgive?
How do you, people of Damascus, think your children are going to live? The city has been wiped off the face of the Earth all because our Eastern Neighbour Saddam decided to have some fun. War is not fun, nor is it great. If this continues our beloved homeland will turn into a dustball. I strongly urge that you stop supporting regional guerillas. Israeli Forces will withdraw until democratic elections will be held in all of our newly acquired lands. All I want is to sit in my house, without ever worrying a SCUD is going to hit it.
The Premier was adressing the people of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq. In the last half year Israeli forces ahve been cutting through Arab Fortifications. Last Week they entered Baghdad and almost caught Saddam Hussein, the Man behind a conspiracy which wanted to destroy Israel and one which overthrew three governments.

Government Collapses!
The DRSEA government has collapsed, and civil war has erupted throughout the land. Five main factions are vying for power: The loyalist DRSEAan faction, led by Thanom Chatichai; the rebel Vietnamese Republican Party, led by Nguyen Trinh Minh (brother of Nguyen Dinh Van); the rebel Cambodia People's Party, led by Hun Sen; the rebel FUNCINPEC (French acronym for National United Front for an Independent, Neutral, Peaceful, and Cooperative Cambodia), led by Norodom Ranariddh; and the rebel United Malays National Organization, led by Mahathir bin Muhammad.
Northern and eastern Burma has fractured into Chin, Karen, Kachin, and Shan states, each warring against each other and the others.
The rest of Burma has declared independence from the DRSEA, and has joined with the rebel VRP.
The VRP controls all of Cambodia and Laos east of the Mekong river, and all of Vietnam up to the town of Ben Kangkok in Laos, and the towns of Ky Anh and Tuyen Hoa in Vietnam.
The DRSEAans control all of Thailand north of Prachuap Khiri Khan, and all of Laos and Vietnam not controlled by the VRP.
The CPP controls all of Cambodia north of the Tonle Sap and west of the Mekong River.
FUNCINPEC controls all of Cambodia south of the Tonle Sap and west of the Mekong River.
The United Malays National Organization controls all of Malaysia and Singapore.
The Chin control the state of Chin.
The Karen control the state of Kayah.
The Kachin control the state of Kachin.
The Shan control the state of Shan.
The Burmese VRP control the rest of Burma along with all of Thailand south of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

ELECTIONS IN SPAIN
Today in Spain, the election results were released. After a suprisingly high voter turnout and high anticipation over the result it has been learned that the incumbent Popular Party (PP) has recieved a whopping 38% of the vote. PP supporters packed the streets of Madrid waving tiny Spanish flags and yelling party slogans. Cars honked their horns and radio stations played the Royal March. His Majesty, King Juan Carlos I has appointed prominent PP member Roberto Diaz to replace Jose Maria Aznar as Prime Minister. Many people were suprised to learn that the Basque National Party (PNV) captured 4% of the vote breaking away from the "others" category.
OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS:
Popular Party = 38% = 229 seats
Spanish Socialist Workers Party = 35% = 212 seats
United Left = 15% = 91 seats
Convergence and Union = 7% = 43 seats
Basque Nationalist Party = 4% = 25 seats
other = 1% = 6 seats
OFFICIAL PARTY ABBREVIATIONS:
Popular Party (PP)
Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE)
United Left (IU)
Convergence and Union (CiU)
Basque Nationalist Party (PNV)

DRSEAans Cancel Elections, Suspend Constitution
With the ensuing civil war going on, the remnants of the DRSEAan government have cancelled elections that were to take place next week, and have suspended the constitution. Martial law and curfews have been instated throughout DRSEAan territory.
Thousands Killed in Civil War
Since the beginning of the civil war a week ago, over 27,000 civilians have been killed in the conflict. A bomb set by FUNCINPEC supporters killed hundreds in Bangkok, as FUNCINPEC rebels fight for the capture of Bangkok, the DRSEAan capital.
In Yangon, bombs are heard almost hourly, as Burmese VRP rebels fight off a DRSEAan invasion into Burma.
Forest Fire in Southern Cambodia
Due to the drought in southern Cambodia, DRSEAan loyalists have started a forest fire, burning hundreds of acres of land. FUNCINPEC rebels retaliated by setting their own fire, trapping DRSEAan loyalists between the two fires.
Shan Rebels Sack Chiang Mai
After DRSEAan troops left Chiang Mai in order to invade Yangon, Shan rebels took advantage of the situation, invading the unguarded city of Chiang Mai, sacking the city, then burning it to the ground. Over 13,000 out of the city's 170,000 people were killed in the sacking and the fires afterward, and over one hundred thousand injured or homeless.

GC, here's one for you:
Protests In Moscow
Led by a local environmental group, thousands of people pured into Red Square to protest the continuing use of unsafe nuclear plants.
Organized by Greenpeace, these protests included speeches by the survivors of Chernobyl, the nuclear disaster in Ukraine during the 80's.
Demanding that the government "stop these unsafe practices," the group leaders stirred up the crowd into a frenzy. Although there was no violence today, protest leaders said that protests would continue throughout the week.
And for Jools:
"Allahu Ahkubar!"
The Arab ran towards the Wailing Wall was carrying an AK-47 and firing madly into the air. As his feet pounded the ground, several Jewish police officers chased him.
They pulled out their services weapons and began firing at them. Several bullets hit him, and he spun to the ground, his Ak flying through the air.
The officers walked up to him, and he gurgled his last words..
"I am but the first messanger of Allah."
Two civilians were hit by ricochets, but are in stable condition in Ben Guiron Hispital.

The economic growth has grown to -1.8%, despite this is still negative the growth has rebounded. We expect this rate to reach positive levels soon... our economy is on the rebound. The Encouraged Economic and Population Growth Programmes have pushed Russia in a positive future. Corruption has fallen -262% this year, and the Police have actually arrested and attacked Mob Strongholds with minimal casualities.

Today German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder adressed the Bundestag on the matter of industrial production and military downsizing. President Johannes Rau was currently in Frankfurt for an economic conference. Since forming a coalition with Bündnis 90/Die Grünen the military had been downsizing. However Schröder has decided that it is time to expand the Bundeswehr and research into more modern technology.
He has also brought up the fact of industrial potential in Germany. Currently the major industrial sectors in Germany are located in the Saar and the Ruhr. Schröder is interested in expanding heavy industries to areas like Saxony and Westfalia. However Die Grünen has protested this hotly, claiming that this would further damamge the fragile German ecosystem. Schröder however has decided to turn a deaf ear on their protest.
To Israel: We beg you to reconsider your imperialstic designs. We hope you will not act to the Arabs like the Nazis acted to you. However we congratulate you on your capture of Saddam Hussein, he was a menace to Western democracy.
To France: Germany would like to improve her relations with her western neighbor. Perhaps an alliance is in order?

Seven factories have been opened on Australia and four on New Zealand to manufacture armaments in the event of war between Australia and another nation so that our nation is not marooned. Russian Navy spotted training of Pacific Coast
In the Pacific Coast a few miles away from Russia the Russian Navy was seened spotted doing training exercises for possible action in South East Asia. The Navy was firing test shots on Dead Islands, which means Islands that are testing grounds. One Russian Naval Personel told a reporter that We are getting ready and starting some training exercises.. The reporter asked Ready for what?, he replied Ready for the war in South east Asia. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin has admitted that he ordered the Navy to start training exercises, it was actually spotted that the Kuznetsov Carrier was moving towards the training area to train. Something must be done in South East Asia! Something must stop the bloodshed! Putin shouted in the Congressial Building followed by a cheer of Politicans...
Why I acted that way in Congress was because there were innocent lives being lost in South East Asia, and something needs to be done about it. So that is why, I Vladimir Putin has ordered the Naval bombings of Cambodia, Vietnam, and all other nations in the former dictatorship states... until they surrender to the true democracy. - President Vladimir Putin
Russian Offensive in Chechyna
The Ongoing Russian Offensive has took a climb in Chechyna today when over 100 MiG-31s flew over one town bombing all suspected areas. And at one time 34 Russian Civilians were attempting to leave Chechyna, but the Rebels pulled them over and shot all of them. These criminals will no longer be tolerated in a municipal automous republic of Chechyna, and will be eliminated. There will be semi-independence to Chechyna, although they will not maintain any lines of defense.. President Putin said they lived there attempting to get food, water and basic resources to Chechyan Civilians.
