I'm not sure if it aired already where you live, but it aired on Christmas Eve over here in Holland. On New Year's Day the winners will be announced on a second show.

Kelly Clarkson's cute...

In Holland the second series started a few weeks ago.

But well, World Idol is the competition between last year's winners, and since it's being broadcast in lotsa places around the world...

Of course, there's very little of Apolyton's favourite music genre in it (i.e. classic rock), and I'm sure everyone pretends to despise Pop Idol. But since there are plenty of Apolytoners with wives, girlfriends and sisters, there must at least be some who will see this... Damn you!

There 's Nirvana it, The Doors, U2, Aerosmith! Aargh... You know you love it! (please)

Well, it'll air in a few hours in the US.

MinghosQ and the Urban Rangers better start practicing their performance of Banana.

you know, just for a second, I looked at your last entry, and said "NO WAY. THIS IS HILLARIOUS". It took me about 4 seconds to realize this was the banana option. I probably should get some sleep.

Unfortunately I didn't really hear much of him. He was just after the commercial break, and my sister zapped around a little too long. We came back right when he stepped up to the judges. I did hear a few seconds when they showed them all at the end with the phonenumbers to call.

Those few seconds definitely sounded good, definitely better than a few others (e.g. Germany), but I can't really say whether it surpassed the other top ones (e.g. Australia).
