I just wish I could be something other than chieften. Any idea where I could find out the ranks and how many posts I already have?

Second Edit: I found this in the FAQ.

So then, Paddy just passed 1000 posts!

What this also means is that Paddy will need another 2000 posts to be the same rank at Wittlich


Wittlich will need somewhere between 1 and 7000 posts to reach the next rank, the highest rank.

While I need an unknown number of posts, probably between 1 and 50, to become warlord. Shan't be too long!

As of right now, 6558 posts away from Deity to be exact. I guess I'll reach it around the year 2010!

Anyone else having a problem with barbs? I have raided 3 huts, and 2 happened to have 3 barbarians inside. It's really put me back. I still have one or two on the loose, so I have had to send my worker into my capitol.

I am playing a Regent game single player, and it is very challenging. I am currently in the 19th century, and I'm finding out that resource scarcity is a real problem. There are two continents on a huge map. There are only 4 coal and 4 iron between them, but worse is rubber and oil. I have uncovered 90% of the map and have only found 2 of each. All the oil is on the other continent, fortunatley, one is on an unsettled portion. As for rubber, there is no hope. Both are burried deep in other civilization's territory. The one closest to me is in the center of about 80 American cities, defended with calvary and infantry. I am not about to enter a war of that kind with only riflemen.

Other than that I am doing well. I currently am the most advanced technologically, getting techs every four turns (working on flight right now) and earning over 700gp. I have somewhere between 80 and 100 cites, with the highest pop of 30, and the average being about 12-18.

I am having a new problem though. It appears that scientific ages do not work yet. I entered a scientific age, and dropped my tech rate accordingly. It has said that I will get flight in 4 turns for 3 turns now:

I really hope I don't run into these problems with our game. There really should be more resources on the map, I hope Atari (or whoever is doing patches) will fix this issue and others soon.

Yes, there are definitly Barbs in this game, I have had 2 huts, and 1 was barbs...
