Our coastline is already covered with units - save a few tiles which wil be covered next turn, and as workers are used to add to cities they can be replaced with catapults. Also, RP are building cats to cover Estonia, so we'll get all our slow-movers from there.
I think it's too early to disband any galleys yet - but the discussion should continue. Once we have navigation we become a scary civ, as we can dump units almost anywhere but no-one can touch us at home for an era.
