She just got back a couple of days ago, and I looked forward to seeing her again after we both went home for the break. Instead of a fun couple of hours catching up, she wanted to break up with me.

And no, it wasn't because of religious differences, Asher. If anything, that's always been a strong point in our relationship over the couple of years we've known each other, drawing us closer together.

In all seriousness dude, you are going about this the wrong way. Women don't react well to being pursued, no matter what they say. But if she thinks for one moment that you are really interested in someone else, bingo - reverse jealousy will set in and she'll claw her way back. If this doesn't work then she really ISN'T interested in you and if thats's the case then there's NOTHING you can do about it (or should do....do not wind up in a relationship where you love a woman more than she loves you....there won't be a happy ending)

I've had much worse breakups... She still cares about me, enough so to try to break the news as soft as she could, yet still get her point across. She didn't try to hurt me like others have. She said I treated her well, and when it comes down to it, that's the most important thing if you can't work something out.

I'll miss her though. She's treated me better than anyone else.
