So, a question for the Finns.
So, for four of your days, everything's fine. We have Sunday = Sunnuntai, Monday = Maanantai, Tuesday = Tiistai, & Thursday = Torstai. But then, things go wrong. Why is Friday = Perjantai? It could at least be some variant on Venus rather than Freya, emulating the French (vendredi). But no, Perjan gets it instead. And for Saturday, you have Lauantai. Once again, who's Lauan? That sounds like a Hawaiian island, not Saturn.
And lastly, there's Keskivikko. What the heck happened here?! Shouldn't that be Keskivikkotai, if anything? And it doesn't sound remotely like Wotan/Odin! Come on, the Vikings were right next door! How hard could it have been to ask them what their deity's name was? Or again you could emulate the Romans with something based off of Mercury, but noooooo. Keskisomething wins again.
So can you explain yourselves? This better be good, or I may have to report Finland as being in noncompliance to the International Organization of Uniform Weeknames.

Keskiviikko = lit. "middle week" = it used to be in the middle of the week, hence the no-nonsense name. Note that the German name for Wednesday is Mittwoch, which has exactly the same meaning.
As for perjantai, I'll have to do some digging. Pronounciation considered, "perja" as you put it could be a bastardization of Freya.
Lauantai is probably nicked from the Swedes who have lördag, which is literally "washing up day". In ancient Norse it was "laugardagr", hence "lauantai". Most of the other days are taken from the Scandinavians too: måndag, tisdag, torsdag, and söndag.

Hitto mikä keittiö tälläkin koululla. Ruokana oli kuoripottuja, hirveän makuista kurpitsasalaattia ja jonkinlaista kalaa. Millaista kalaa? Ei oikeastaan kovin erikoista. Mielenkiintoista oli sen kastike. Otin sitä ensiksi vähän epäluulosta. Se maistui hyvältä, kylläkin aika makealta, mutta ihan kastikkeelta ja sille kalalle sopivalta. Santsasin kunnolla. Sain tietää, mistä se maku tuli.
Rasvasta. Minä en edes halua tietää paljonko siinä kastikkeessa oli rasvaa, mutta se maistui suunnilleen voin, sokerin, suolan ja mausteiden sekoitukselta. Ehkä se olikin sitä. Mieletöntä ainetta kumminkin. Käytin sitä sitten kuitenkin kuin mitä tahansa tavallista kastiketta, minähän kun en kovin paljoa välitä siitä, onko syömäni ruoka terveellistä...
Postitan koululta win95-koneelta. En meinannut uskaltaa kirjoittaa salasanaani sisään. Onneksi se nyt on 1) käytössä ainostaan tällä foorumilla ja 2) muutenkin niin turvaton ettei mitään järkeä (ensimmäisiä koskaan webissä valitsemiani salasanoja, ja yhä käytössä. Löytyy sanakirjasta, ei obfuskaatiota.)
