	Hacked account Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I'd like to report that my account was hacked as seen here:

The first post and the last post made today were by me. The others in that thread were not. Someone obviously hacked my account and changed my profile. I would like to discuss the situation further but I have no idea who the admin of this message board is and how to contact him or her.

I assure you that I was hacked and I would like something done about it. I already changed my password. I'm just letting people know what happened as there seems to be no board discussion forum here. Please offer any assistance.

There is no reason to believe anybody broke into your account. If those posts were in fact not make by you, a much more likely explanation is you had left your account open on a public-access computer.

I haven't used this account on any computer. and someone did break into my account and changed my profile. I swear I did not post the comments. Have a mod check the IPs for the posts made by the person in the middle of the thread and my own posts. They should be different.

Would it have mattered if I kept the profile changed?

I always get suspicious when someone asks us to check the IPs.

Interesting... a different IP address was used for the posts you mentioned. However, that doesn't prove that somebody hacked your account... you could just be playing a game with us and switched computers

I will say from looking at the IPs. that nobody else from this site has used the IP addresses that were used to post the questionable posts...

If it happens again, let us know.

What I meant was that I wasn't using this accounr on any other computer. I have no other computers in the house. I am not playing a game with you. My account was hacked. You saw the different IPs. I am not the kind of person that would do something so childish.

I would never make up a story like this. Someone hacked my account. It was not from this computer I am using now.

That's what I'd like to know. I got e-mail reports of posts being made in my name and I went here to check it out after I made my 31 civ topic. I saw the profile and it had some dirty stuff in there.

I have no idea how he or she managed to get my password. But, it happened and we may never know who it was.

All I know is, I got post reports and someone was using my account. I dunno if the hacker was using my account for any other posts. All I wanted to do when I made this thread was to warn you all about this hacker who hacked my account.

Are you perhaps a Jeckyl and Hyde type character, are their gaps in your life that you just cant quatify. Has anything like this happened to you before.
