Well, given how red-hot it is, unless it stops, Kerry wins it all- remember that the huge prizes come on March 3 and the question is, will Clark and Edwards have time to build in the coming states?

Liebermans problem isn't lack of appeal so much as his lack of campaign ability, IMO. |
Lieberman is trying to win the DEMOCRATIC nomination- and running on a completely moderate platform: he is trying to say : hey, the electorate as a whole would like me best, so if you want to beat W vote for me! Problem is, that by itself is not enough, and given the latest polls, Kerry, who is more solidly Democrat (Lieberman might as well be a moderate NE republican...) has claimed that line.

Well, part of the problem is that Dean has (had?) a sizeable chunk of those states - whether those votes stay, go to kerry or to other candidates remains to be seen. A month is a long time, although certainly, even with a drop in momentum, Kerry will still have the edge, since the spotlight wont be soley on any one of the other candidates.

True, but part of the reason they see Kerry as more electable is because he's already managed to win states already, while one's barely heard/seen much of Lieberman for the last couple of months.

Well, there are a few contests along the way, including big states like Michigan. If Kerry wins those, he keep momentum..if Dean wins them (he will return to spending in those late feb contests) he has some rays of hope come the big day.

The thing was that Liberman spent all of early jan concentrating in NH and he came in 5th. He put lots of his scant reosurces into Oklahoma and Delaware, and he could not get more than 12% in either of those states. I mean, in one state he came in after Kucinich!
Plenty of people heard about Lieberman (he did get endoresed by some NH and SC papers) and still democratic rimary voters rejected him bigtime. He might have been able to pull 15% in NY and gotten some delegates, but now it is over.

100% in OKLAHOMA
Wesley Clark 90,423 30%
John Edwards 89,169 30%
Edwards loses by 1200 votes.
Might still be more ballots to count, so this is tentative.
