Look, I know this isn't the appropriate venue, but some jackass has closed the Help Desk, or at least prevented any new posts.
Anyway, I've got the XP blues. Installed and reinstalled the game many times, but can't get it to run. I click play and just nothing. No response whatsoever. I've updated the graphics driver. I am not making a mistake with user permissions.
Any suggestions?
*Edit: Actually, I did just get a partial response. The screen went black and the monitor made that clicking noise, but then XP just came back a second later, with no messages as to why I can't just get on with the life I am so happy with.
* Edit #2: I just tried "The Program Compatibility Wizard", which seems like a great idea, but to no avail
