At least twice a year we get a story like this- there is always some child being murdered..

at this point it amazes me the same level of emotion comes up each time we go over this again and again

This thread is the reason why we have an impartial, rule-governed justice system.

The guy is a psychopath. The courts will deal with him fairly, and he'll no doubt be convicted. What else are we supposed to do? Descend back into mediaeval savagery?

I'm sure when he's sent to jail he will be sequestered from the other prisoners. The court is supposed to impose the penalties, not Mr Chib in the lunch-room.

The only thing I read was that something bad happened a kid got killed and it was a mechanic who did it. Mechanics are evil people like truck drivers.

I'd bet a small some of money that it was a sexual crime. These sorts of things always are. Perhaps he didn't have sex with her, but the basis of the crime is still sexual.

I'm guessing he either killed her to shut her up, or he has a sex thing about death.

The worst thing is that nobody can do anything that will ever compensate for this girls murder. Life is harsh.
