Glory to the Hive !
Nice start, shame i was stuck on a blob of land and had to push inwards again. Lost 2 bases to 9 spartan recon rovers but fought back, retaking and then capturing 3 more before santiago became submissive.
While this was happening the Gaians (Psycho) tried a sneak attack but when he saw my military at his HQ within two turns he wisely backed down but was forced to pay a hefty price in terms of technology in retaliation.
Gained Govt position thanks to large pop, Gaians forced to vote in favour and a pacted morgan.
Working on getting specialised bases going to start increasing tenfold my tech.
Don't know where Dre is, just sitting in a corner doing mad experiments away from all the melee

ye ye ... it was my first game since ages ... good training
i had a wonderful environment; the monsoon jungle close to capitol... had to fight for it against pk (ai) and believers (ai) .. i eliminated believers (ai) .. therefore i lost colonies at the early beginning (2 pods and one city)...
and only then i saw hive right beside my capitol

pain in the arse losing so many units because they were all sitting ducks while the updates moved all by formers you just shot my rovers. Still, your rocks and plants didnt save you this time !

And Dre was on that island 3 squares across the water from me lol, had a half dozen ships with rovers ready to jump him if he said lets continue

good game, and now im off to bed since its 4am

Which other factions were played by you guys and not played by the AI ?

Psycho told me you gonna start a new game on sunday. Which time? And which factions? I would like to be the Gaians. Is that okey?

I was Hive, Psycho was Gaians and Dre was Uni.

Psycho i normally like to play in peace with the Hive *gasp, shock* i know. It's just Having 9 recon rovers attack me when i had a peace treaty with Santi she dug her own grave. You aswell declared war ON ME twice if you remember. Bar my early attack on one of santiagos colony pods when she demanded a technology from me i never initiated anything.

As for the time on sunday i suggest around 14:00 GMT, since last night lasted about 6hours i really can't afford to stay up too late with needing to be at 5am for work on monday.

Or if we have any americans playing (abit early for them) we could start around 16-17:00 and just split it between this sunday and next.

Yes, he had big distance to us, but also had big luck at start. Psycho had turned on the clock and that so little that for four turns I couldn't do anything, and so I loss 4 ticks in research, he got the Weather and the AI got the Secrets (and as I had the Uni you have an impression what was running wrong, never the AI can get the Secrets against the Univ in a normal game)

what was very stupid as Gaia had all advantages in land, jungle and lot of minerals. No reason to start a war instead to develop und use the advantages first. The more, as normal humans don't start a war so early to another human as long as AI are existing closely.
