The fact is, you can no longer pin this on "Republican Mechanations", and you can no longer dismiss it as something only covered by "rags".
Your ball. |
On the contrary.
What the real newspapers are reporting are the coverage of and denials of the baseless rumors reported in the rags.

How is this legitimate news? There is no proof, only something said by someone who knows someone who knows someone. That isn't news by any definition.

Direct statements that completely contradict the story in the legitimate media. All other "direct statements" have only been reported in tabloids.

Bait and switch. I believe girl is a red herring. Kerry has the money to fund an elaborate deception. Wait and see.

I saw that too. They said Drudge got the story from other media looking into a rumor. They did not mention Drudge's statement that he got the story from Clark (or a Clark aid).
The CNN story amounted to a hit piece on Drudge. |
NOONE other than you right now has tried to claim that Drudge got the entire story from a Clark aid. At the best, Drudge tried to use a quote from Clark as support of what he had found, possibly suggesting that the quote suggesting that Kerry had a hidden intern scandal got him to find the story in the first place. (The original quote was definately vague rather than specific.)

Senator John Kerry is not only a philanderer, but a necrophiliac!
It is well known that he once tried to interest a young girl in philately, and that the rumors about his wife being a thespian while in boarding school are true! Is there any perversion that this man won't stoop to? Stay tuned, if he didn't do it we'll make something up!
In other news democrats campaigning in Wisconsin avoid all issues once again! "No one has taken a stand or made a valid criticism of anything since Iowa, and I don't see that changing anytime before the general election", commented an Edwards campaign staffer. "Issue free and proud to be!", was Senator Kerry's response to a question last night in a televised "debate". |
More rummor and hearsay evident.
