Slanderous? Are you meaning that someone, somewhere, could possibly interpret my saying you lack bony vertebrae to mean actually that? That you are a quadrapelegic in a hospital somewhere typing away on the internet with an eye laser? Really now, yuo have such a low opinion of others' intellectual capacities.

It should also be noted that as long as the nomination process is not "locked up", the Democrats must continue spending time, money and energy against each other that would otherwise be going against Bush.

Any lengthening of the process is good.

No -- as in, that I believe everything the media presents, which is what I meant by slanderous insult.

Yeah, the number done on Dean was absurd and I am very angry about it.

Dean has said he think Edwards would make a much better candidate than Kerry..

The thing about Kerry is this: he wins in Iowa big becuase gephartd and Dean kept killing each other, and the press was doing it's number on Dean...so then we get the results, and the "scream" and all of a sudden Dean falls and Kerry surges, simply on the fact he won Iowa and because for some reaosn people though he is "electable" (I sitll love Kucinich's response to this moronic issue)- and then Terry McAuffile got what he wanted- a front loaded system in which one person snowballed so rapidly there could be little challenge that the party could be done and unified fast-and still ha dresources to take on the Bush money mahcine.

Kerry is not ahead becuase voters love him- but becuase dems want Bush out and they will vote for whom they think has the best chance to win a general eelction, not whom THEY think is best- which to me is the wrong criteria.

It really just depends on what the facts of the case are and how Kerry answers the charges. Both Bush and Schwarzenegger basically came clean with what they did (while not detailing what they did). We'll see if Kerry does the same, or if, in fact, there's nothing there. If it's intern play, then that's pretty damning, if only because it's so close to what Clinton did and we don't want any more of that.

You left Dean becuase of the "scream" issue, which has been shown to be a non-issue.

Ned implies there might be a sex scandal of some sort (but we know absolutely nothing about what the charges are) and you are ready to say if it turns out to be true, you will withdraw your support for Kerry...

What won;t make you change yoour mind about a candidate? You are OK with them getting haircuts perhaps?

I don't think he was ever behind Dean. It's just the media BS solidified his dislike. He was aways a Kerry guy, IIRC, but apparently not very deeply.

Che's list is rhetoric (those I recognize anyway). Finding Jesus doesnt atone for making bad choices, making changes does. Its possible that this was something from Kerry's past. If so, it might fall under the same umbrella i.e. a bad choice in the past. Since there is an implication that he sent the girlfriend out of the country, though, I doubt it.
