Just to clarify what the purpose of this thread was: if you subscribe to it (using the Poly 'subscribe' feature), you get email announcements when there is a new post added to it (read: when the new turn arrives to us). I thought it would be a convenience for those that do not check the forum that often and are mostly interested in following the turns being played. There is no other easy way to get "new Poly turn" notices (at least I was unable to think of any).

Frankly, this poll is rather strange - how could one (regularly) use a thread that has been put out of service months ago?

Unless the Consuls wanted to use it again for the same reason as before (and I see little need for this), then it should stay closed, pristine as a monument to our past.

This poll isn't terribly useful, really.

We don't need to be forming polls on every single issue that one member may, as you claim, "whine" about even after the issue has been settled. I think the issue was already settled in the thread in question and the thread then closed since it no longer carries any use. As pointed out by me, its primary function is already served by the parts I added to the turn reports (which is how the thread first feel into disuse). As pointed out by E_T, the e-mail distribution list removes its other function, the notification one pointed out by vondrack.

Just let this die already.

consider it dead. Apparently one 1 person out of 10 thought it to be usefull and not one of them admitted in checking it regularly.
