and leading them, our Emperor, Napoleon.

To the south Davout (in yellow) had moved his forces into Prussia.

Then with the boldness you would expect from a trusted General of Napoleon, he led his own Army of Curassiers on a charge of Frankfurt. Thus allowing the following units time to set there mighty cannon up for the bombardment of the city.

England insists you do not commence hostilities with Spain at this time, we have vulnerable assets in that region and no way at present to reinforce quickly.

If you start wars all over the place I will be unable to support you with my few available troops.

We battle on, the pains of the battle of Hannover linger in the Old Guard. Yet they stay the field, like a rock against a pounding wave.

Many russian cossaks are on the field, so be aware... they are like flies

Hamburg is a hard nut to crack... many good men we not be returning to France from this battle.

And then we capture 3 russian cannon units that were deserted by their cossack guards before our eyes...

they will all die soon, though I fear not before many of our brave lads have fallen too in this bitter war.

We may have to consider a short peace if things get too messy. I watched greatly saddened as two of Frances finest were butchered by the Prussian hordes outside their Capitol city! They intend to fight tooth and nail, my esteemed Ally.

November is a cold and terrible time to die on the field of battle, your boys are in our prayers.

My good man, I think it unwise to assume Prussia beaten. They have just again counter attacked and destroyed one of your cavalry units.

My apologises, my meaning was to be that the Prussians in Berlin are close to beaten, as they were throwing conscripts at the gates... yes, tired generals write slopy reports...

and reinforcements have saved Berlin for another day...
