	4th Official Top Games Poll Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Vote here for your top 10 games.

List your top ten games in your preferred order. Points will be assigned to each game as follows:
1. 20 points.
2. 18 points.
3. 16 points.
4. 13 points.
5. 10 points.
6. 8 points.
7. 6 points.
8. 4 points.
9. 3 points.
10. 2 points.

You can vote for any pc, console or arcade game. Mods and other add-ons are not counted seperately, they are considered to already included with the game already. As such, a vote for SMAX is the same as a vote for SMAC. A vote for CTP assumes it is a modded version of CTP. Sequels are considered seperate, so a vote for Civ2 is not a vote for Civ3.

EDIT: Additional rules. You must submit a minimum of 5 games to be eligible in this poll. I refuse to believe that people posting on a gaming site have never played more than 5 games in their life.
Voters with less than 5 games at this point in time have been "grandfathered" in - they still count.

A really close call between the top two here, but Doom just has to take the title. Note, these aren't necessarily my favorite games of all time, but what I consider to be the objectively best and/or most influential. The wide world of gaming would be a bland and sterile place indeed if none of these games had ever been made.

But it adds just as much a a standard addon for other games... it wasn't much of a difference compared to GTA 3... it uses the same graphics (just slighty updated)... it was simply just a "compaign" addon... and those who made it also said it was just an addon... standalone, but still just an addon... and they're working on two projects at the moment:
San Andreas (another addon)
GTA 4

I'll second that... Especially since Skanky mentioned in his opening post that he considers Civ2 and Test of Time the same thing, even when they're vastly different (though based on the same engine).

I have no problems with treating Civ2 and ToT as one and the same thing, but not if you're going to differentiate GTA3 from VC, or the upcoming San Andreas for that matter.

Regarding GTA, a stand-alone game counts as its own game. As such, votes for Vice City will be counted seperately from votes for GTA3. If enough people want to vote for ToT as a seperate entity to Civ2 though, I can be convinced to allow it.
