	Peace In Our Time (Turn Thread) Tired of ads?

This is the turn thread for the Peace In Our Time PBEM.

Briefing:
Four teams race for victory. However, no military nor covert operations are allowed. The teams are: (1) Morganites/Angels, (2) University/Drones, (3) Pirates/Consciousness and (4) Peacekeepers. Contact has been preserved for team-mates and team communication may begin even before planetfall!

Scenario notes:
The research options at M.Y. 2101 may produce non-default choices; however, all teams have fair options if they manage to coordinate research.
All victory conditions are enabled except Conquest Victory (which makes no sense in this PBEM). Do or Die is enabled and there are no random events. Difficulty is transcend. No specific house rules have been agreed upon.

Turn to Angels - been a little sick, got a upper respiratory virus from my little one - I am convinced playgroups are designed as disease vector meetings to toughen them up when they're young.

The kid's fine - she threw the &*#$ virus off in four days, and it only slowed her down for two - I've gone from headaches and being stuffed up to currently having a nasty cough, and I got sick last Saturday. She'll either toughen daddy up or kill him.

CMN, my faction was supposed to be CyCon but I had graphics for one of those aliens... caretakers I think.

Do I need to adjust my Alpha Centurai ini file? It's still orginial.

It's kinda bug, there is no excellent cure for it
Adjustment in ini is the only way to do as far as i know:

1) start a new game with the same faction arrangement as in PIOT game - exe will make appropriate changes in ini file for you or:

2) change ini file manually by yourself each time before loading the game turn...

Firaxis could really fix it....

DataAeolus: I think this information was included in the setup notification I sent you. Anyway, take a look at you alpha centauri.ini file and the faction entries should look like this:

Faction 1=PEACE
Faction 2=PIRATES
Faction 3=UNIV
Faction 4=ANGELS
Faction 5=DRONE
Faction 6=CYBORG
Faction 7=MORGAN

I think your 6th faction entry says caretake.

binTravkin: This is a common bug that applies to all SMACX PBEMs. It is unaffected by the alphax.txt file. Also, I do not recall changing any rules files for this game; it is plain SMACX.

Chaunk: Could you pass the 2102 save file to me for inspection?

I must have gotten your list confused with one other PBEM.

binTravkin, I assumed yahoo would automatically rar or zip my files while I'm uploading those. Do I have to do the rar/zip thing outside of the email system before saving the file as an attachment?

Hmm I have to take a look at my INI file too... At my first dialogue in the game I was seeing two Foreman Domais! TWO!!! And I wasnt even talking with the Drones ...

Oh well IŽm from a pirate faction, BUT I WASNŽT DRUNK!!!! - Or at least not in the first turn!!
