Nope. While they kill terrorists. Afterall they got Saddam and killed his sons so the Iraq war was a success. The country now has a constitution like Afghanistan. Reconstruction is happening. Not to mention Iraq has been churning more oil than it did pre-war.

My solution is a plan of action where we actually go after terrorists and not appease them with stupidity. I mean you can go sing cumbaya and wave your white flags of surrender all you want. Part of me disagrees with you in that if you drive all your allies away from yourself and generally mess up like you are now, the terrorists win.

Your last attempt to define conservatism was an abject failure. You basically said that conservatives support tradition because they distrust change. If that's not to dissolve into moronic paranoia, it must simply mean that they support change when it will do good and not when it won't. If that's what they mean, then it is a platitude shared by pretty much everyone.

But if we look at what they do, rather than what they say we can see that conservatives are quite happy with radical change when it involves the destruction of a fifty year old welfare system. They really believe in inequality and nothing you, or anyone else, has said has managed to raise a good argument against that point.

Inequality is the unifying idea of the political right. It is what shows fascism and capitalism to be of the same ilk.
