We do such half-assed jobs on everything. Everyplace I turn around I see slipshod work, uncaring employees, half assed jobs. We put massive effort into getting stuff done before its ready, rush, rush, rush, then drop the project and run on to something new.

How did we build an empire this way?

Well, if you've got 300 million Americans doing a half assed job and 80 million Germans doing a full job, then you've actually got 150 million American full jobs compared to 80 million German full jobs. You still win.

In conclusion, you only do half the effort but have twice the people doing it.

And that is why my future business will do great. International business it is, and I already have set some preparations up, and it's looking good. The competition fails on few things, which basically is because they're lazy and afraid to put their extra human resources to work on them, considering it a waste of time while it's the most important thing.. a good customer service and the best shipment options.

Seriously, something on the order of 15% of the new homes built in North East Florida have serious defects in them that require thousands of dollars in repairs (the national average is 5%). There is massive wealth being created here, but it seems like it's all built on a foundation of dreams. We value stocks now on the expectation of its revenue performance for the next 70 years? That's serious speculation, and yet the wealth realized is real enough when translated into dollars and then goods.

It's clothes that aren't sewn well and buttons that come off and seems that come undone. It's poorly made roads and idiot drivers. It's people getting paid to do nothing and managers too busy to manage. It's productivity gains made by increasing the hours of salaried emlpoyees and people working so much they have no time to themselves.

For the most part the people with the drive to do a good job dont settle for BS blue collar positions, they know they can make money if they move into the business or science world. The only people left to do all the blue collar jobs are all lazy mofo's! ( Im obviously over-generalizing and stereotyping, but it make sense )

che, you know what bothers me in here very much? It's not the half assed job, it's the lacking of customer service. The biggest companies, ISPs that also are phone operators and big companies, they don't have a customer service than phone one from like 9AM to 4PM. What's with that? Most problems occure after 4PM. It's just nasty, because that's when everyone gets from work and uses their internet connection, failing, you can't call anyone.

They are too big of a company to let this go down like this. It gives an impression where they don't give a crap about their customers. If I had other options, I'd change in a heart beat. And there comes the other problem: lack of competition. There is no challengers, because they own every damn cable already and the new ones would have to rent those, automatically losing the competition. And because of this, they can keep ignoring customers and having 0 amount of campagns, 0 marketing, 0 everything.

The quality of service is poor, when there is no competition, adding high prices too and lack of options.

This is just one example of clear monopoly situation what should be illegal, and is.

And I feel that in order to have a good succesful business you need to have satisfied customers. You need to take care of them even after they are not your customers. So they get a good taste in their mouths after they leave your services. Not the 'I'll avoid those mofos if I can'. What I want to see is quality product, quality customer service, quality managment, quality marketing and I want to see campagns, I want to see options in everything the customer might want to do, I want to see special treatment for old customers, I want to see good strategy with realistic plans how to take on the world, I want to see unique idea, I want to see quality implementation of that plan and strategy, and I want to see good networking where you can put out packages with the help of partners to make really killer product packages and sales, I want to see workers treated with respect they deserve, I want to see managment actively going to the field, I want the latest researches of the markets, I want to see forever going product development, I want to see special deals for big customers where they can see how we do research and how their product is coming up, I want to see quality shipment with many options and I don't want to see any excuses and if it fails on one of these simple things, it's utter **** and I despice it.

We have other people working for us dirt cheap, who actually do a very good job at what they are doing. Then a few of us who do a very good job and get paid a ton. The rest of us are filler given jobs and money so we can buy what is produced by those working their asses off.
