I do have more time to waste here,
but I haven't been here a lot, lately.
Oh well, civ4 is coming. That might finally get me into my 3000th post, after 5 years.

What kind of job are you looking for?

I'll remember but I'd be more likely to take it myself

Pretty much anything that will allow me to put my IT skills to use and is in the Enschede area is fine with me

But actually my current contract doesn't expire until two weeks from now and I plan on holding a 'vacation' for a while before I really start looking for something new (unless something great comes along of course). I sort of knew this might be coming so I saved up some money in the past months, so I can afford to relax a while

"Pissed you off" is certainly a bit too strong...

As far as I am concerned I will never make any difference between an ApolytonPLUS subscriber and one that has not subscribed to it. One has chosen to have an ad-free Apolyton or to support the ACS (this is my case) and the other has decided not to pay for the service and support Apolyton through the ads displayed by his browser.

The danger of the subscription is that it classes the members into two categories, those that have paid and those that have not without making any difference between those that don't care or those that don't have any money to spend for this service. Though I don't mean here that it is what you think, some posters could start considering those that have not subscribed to ApolytonPLUS as second class members. And I think this is bad.

And it can take up to 4 days if you transfer funds directly from your bank account (through PayPal). Oh well, hopefully it won't take the full 4 days to complete the transfer.

EDIT: Checked my PayPal account. PayPal states that the funds transfer will be complete by Monday, 5 April...though my bank account already shows the funds paid out. Oh well, modern technology!

Tamerlin,

Since you would NEVER think any such thing yourself, why impute those thoughts to the group?? Lighten up; it will be okay. And if someone should think they have a 'special' status, so what?? It won't make their lame +1's any funnier will it.

This is a good thing!! Let's be happy for a few days....

I read his post differently, as he says he does NOT attribute those thoughts to JohnT, but to "some posters."

It made me think of folk who say all students should wear uniforms, to make everyone equal. Well, everyone isn't equal, AND,that doesn't have to matter. Success in life comes from state of mind. Thus, my call to be happy about our new thing.

I did not want to accuse JohnT of anything in my post as it would not have been fair, I have thus carefully chosen my words. Then I used the conditional tense to insist on the fact that what I was writing was a possibility.

Sincerely, I hope to be wrong.

I asked that at the beginning of the thread. Mark's response was that a renewal system would be in place before the end of the month.
