We are at war since last turn with Spain, from whom we just conquered Hot House, and from whom we shall conquer BigFurryCity, after the terrible culture flip they pulled on us!

We are planning to send our troops to Madrid after that, right East from our capital New Asgard. Our Berzerkers shall strike fear in the hearts of the Spanish riflemen.

Technologically wise, we are well, well behind. When our enemies alrady have ironclads, we are still stuck with galleys. When they have riflemen (and soon infantry), we have only our mighty axes to crush them. But for now, we are the only ones to have the superior ability to attack directly from the sea.

Diplomatically, we are only at war with Spain, but everybody is annoyed with us. We export most of our gems, our sole luxury, and we import wine from France. It is being discussed whether we should strike a luxury deal with Rome.

We have no wonders, but we shall soon end up having the Lighthouse of Madrid

We are grinding our axes for this war. Whether it will bring us to greatness or doom, we shall see. And we shall see no later than the next Senate Session (turnchat) planned Saturday at noon in AustraliaEST, i.e. Saturday at 02:00 GMT, or Friday at 6pm PST.

Saturday 0200 GMT is a bad time.

I like the map though, lots of rather pleasant island groups. And I love the Aztec city in a LAKE

I did, but it seems the [img] tags don't allow dynamic adresses.

Edit: it works Though maybe I should avoid linking directly to the big pic of our core kingdom, since it'll eat up much bandwidth, and make my post inconvenient to read.

And we feel we must expand at all costs if we ever want to win this game (just look at the map I linked to: our empire is medieval, while all our neighbours are industrial)

Have you seen the step-by-step outline I suggested to take Madrid? Please tell me if you see any problem with it, or if you disagree with my suggestion of building pikemen in some cities who'll lose their "police" forces.

Absolutely. Those are just proposal I personally feel being the best. However, I'm aware I'm not the best player out there, and I can't predict the AI's decisions, so it's only normal you adjust the plan to whatever is needed
